Disclosed is a metalworking oil composition containing: at least one base oil (A) selected from a mineral oil and a synthetic oil; sulfurized oils and fats (B) having a kinematic viscosity at 40° C. of 60 mm.sup.2/s or more and 1,600 mm.sup.2/s or less; and a polymer (C) of an unsaturated fatty acid having a carbon number of 10 or more.

SELF-LUBRICATING CONNECTOR
20210299730 · 2021-09-30 ·

A self-lubricating connector with a housing having a contact receiving cavity with a contact provided therein. A lubricating device is positioned in the housing proximate the contact. The lubricating device extends into the contact receiving cavity and has lubricant provided therein. The lubricant from the lubricating device is deposited or on the outside surface of the contact as the contact is moved between the first position and the second position, reducing wear on the contacts as the contacts are moved between the first position and the second position.

Can bodymaker

A can bodymaker, which includes a disc feed (1) for feeding a disc (5) directly to the bodymaker itself. A locator (9) positions the disc (5) centrally to a blankholder (12) and a draw pad (10) clamps the disc (5) against a draw die (11). The blankholder (12) then forms the disc into a cup (20) and clamps the cup against a redraw die (14) ready to be picked up by a punch and carried through dies for forming a can body.

DIE FOR IRONING WORKING AND DIE MODULE

A method of producing aluminum cans, including an ironing step using an ironing die (30). The ironing die has a carbon film (50) formed as to cover a working surface thereof. The carbon film exhibits a Raman spectrum such that an intensity ratio represented by I.sub.D/I.sub.G wherein I.sub.D is a maximum peak intensity at 133310 cm.sup.1 in the Raman spectrum of the surface of said carbon film, and I.sub.G is a maximum peak intensity at 1500100 cm.sup.1 in the Raman spectrum of the surface of said carbon film, is not less than 1.2. The surface of the carbon film is a smooth surface having an arithmetic mean roughness R of not more than 0.05 m. Further, the ironing step includes iron-working an aluminum sheet in a dry process using no lubricant while maintaining an ironing ratio in excess of 40%.

Spray head for supplying at least one die of a forming machine with lubricating coolant, and method for producing such a spray head

A spray head for supplying at least one die of a forming machine with lubricating coolant, the forming machine including a lower die and an upper die, is preferably produced by rapid manufacturing and is designed as a single piece to a large extent. The use of rapid manufacturing allows the production of the most varied configurations, such as stabilizing honey-comb structures or drip points, which allow a more advantageous design of the spray head. The spray head carries at least one two-substance nozzle connected with at least one feed channel. The nozzle body of the nozzle and the channel wall of the feed channel are configured in one piece with one another or the channel wall of the feed channel and a spray head foot carrying a supply connector connected with the feed channel are configured in one piece with one another.
