Power tool
A power tool including a moveable piston, a motor capable of driving the moveable piston to perform work on a work piece, and a distance sensor configured to sense a movement of the moveable piston. The distance sensor operable to provide sensor information indicative of the movement of the piston. A controller receives the sensor information from the distance sensor. The controller operates the motor to perform work on the work piece based in part on the sensor information that the controller receives from the distance sensor.
CRIMPING PLIERS, GROUP OF CRIMPING PLIERS AND USE OF A DIE HALF
The invention relates to crimping pliers (1). The crimping pliers comprise a pliers jaw (4) on which a die half (22) is supported. A crimping force biasing the die half (22) is sensed by a force sensor. According to the invention, the force sensor comprises a piezo foil (36).
HEAT PIPE STRUCTURE AND CAULKING JIG FOR HEAT PIPE STRUCTURE
A heat pipe structure includes a base block including a rear surface part thermally connectable to a heat generating body and a heat pipe fixed to a front surface part of the base block and including a heat receiving tubular portion disposed along an in-plane direction of the base block. The base block has a longitudinal direction and a width direction and includes a recessed part in which the heat receiving tubular portion is housed and a pair of wall parts projecting along an outer circumferential surface of the heat receiving tubular portion from width direction both sides of the recessed part, and a container of the heat pipe is caulked and fixed by the recessed part and the pair of wall parts and includes a projecting shape part projecting in a direction opposite to a direction of the caulking between distal end portions of the pair of wall parts.
Automated end fitting installation system and method
Sucker rods include end fittings having an outer wedge portion proximate to an open end, an inner wedge portion proximate to a closed end, and an intermediate wedge portion between the outer and inner wedges. Each wedge includes a leading edge, a trailing edge, and an angle between the leading and trailing edges. The triangular configuration, length of the leading edge, the length of the trailing edge, and size of the angle in each wedge portion cause distribution of force, such that compressive forces distributed to the rod proximate the closed end exceed compressive forces distributed to the rod proximate the open end. An automated installation procedure installs the end fitting through the use of multiple chucks, positioned by servo motors along a fitting table.

DEVICE HEAD OF A HYDRAULICALLY ACTUABLE TOOL
A device head of a hydraulically actuatable tool includes an opposing holder which is integrally formed on the device head and which receives a first tool, and including a second tool that can be moved towards the opposing holder by a hydraulic piston. A cylindrical formation formed integrally with the device head and is provided relative to the hydraulic piston. The device head has an integrally formed toothing recess for the angular fixed, but also changeable, arrangement of a retaining rod.
POWER TOOL WITH THREADED SPINDLE DRIVE
A power tool is provided comprising a drive, an output shaft, a threaded spindle drive and a linear actuator, wherein torque generated by the drive is transmissible via the output shaft, and the threaded spindle drive connected to the output shaft, to the linear actuator. the threaded spindle drive has an inner threaded spindle part with an external thread and an outer threaded spindle part with an internal thread, wherein the internal thread interacts with the external thread via at least one bearing roller, and the at least one bearing roller has at least one radially encircling channel by which the bearing roller engages in each case into the external thread and into the internal thread.
METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING PIPE-IN-PIPE PIPELINE ELEMENTS FOR TRANSPORTING FLUIDS
A method for assembling pipe-in-pipe pipeline elements for transporting fluids, with each pipeline element comprising an inner pipe including a bulge at one end, and an outer pipe including a recess at one end. The method comprises the successive steps: inserting a first locking wedge axially abutting the bulge of its inner pipe and a corresponding end of its outer pipe, butt-assembling the inner pipe of a new pipeline element on the inner pipe of the pipeline, positioning the outer pipe of the new pipeline element alongside the outer pipe of the pipeline, and butt-assembling the outer pipe of the new pipeline element on the outer pipe of the pipeline by inserting a second locking wedge axially abutting against the bulge of the inner pipe of the pipeline at its free end and the recess of the outer pipe at a corresponding end thereof.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A CUT SECTION FOR A DRILL BIT
A method for producing a cutting section from a closed tubular element (14) which is in the form of a hollow cylinder and from one or more drill segments (16) which are connected to the closed tubular element (14).
Method for producing a steering shaft part and steering shaft for a motor vehicle
A method may be utilized to produce a steering spindle part configured as a hollow shaft and having a connecting portion at its end. At least a part of the connecting portion includes increased wall thickness relative to a portion of the steering spindle part adjoining the connecting portion. The method may involve providing a circular, hollow cylindrical tube with an inner surface that is smooth in a circumferential direction, providing a circular, hollow cylindrical sleeve with an outer surface that is smooth in a circumferential direction, inserting the sleeve into an end portion of the tube, and jointly deforming the end portion of the tube and the sleeve such that a flow of material occurs. This flow may form positively locking elements on the tube and the sleeve that engage into one another in the circumferential direction and generate positive locking in the circumferential direction.
