Crimp structure, crimping method, and electronic device
Provided is a crimp structure in which an inner member and an outer member that is arranged outside the inner member are joined to each other. The inner member includes: an insertion portion having a columnar surface-like outer circumferential surface; and a recessed portion provided in the outer circumferential surface. The outer member includes: a cylindrical portion that forms an opening into which the insertion portion is inserted; a reduced-diameter portion that is formed in the cylindrical portion, and has a plastically deformed shape such that a diameter of the cylindrical portion is reduced annularly inward in a radial direction; and a protruding portion that has a plastically deformed shape such that a part, in a circumferential direction, of the reduced-diameter portion has entered the recessed portion. Relative rotation of the inner member and the outer member can be suppressed.
PRESSING TOOL WITH SENSOR SYSTEM FOR IDENTIFYING A WORKPIECE
A pressing tool, particularly a pipe pressing tool, for plastically deforming a tubular workpiece, particularly a fitting, is described. The pressing tool includes pressing jaws and a motor which is adapted to drive the pressing jaws in order to apply a force to the workpiece. Further, a method of operating such a pressing tool, and pressing jaws as well as a tubular workpiece are described.
Method And Apparatus For Producing A Connecting Element
The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for producing a rod- or pipe-shaped intermediate product provided with an end face (106) from a semi-finished connecting element (102) made of metal, in particular an insertion end of a drill or chisel attached in an axially movable manner in the chuck of a hammer drill, the connecting element (100) having at least one rotary entrainment surface (162, 164) and at least one locking depression (122, 124), the locking depression (122, 124) being preferably embodied as a locking groove, a semi-finished connecting element (102) being provided, the at least one rotary entrainment surface (162, 164) being formed in the semi-finished connecting element (102) by axially forcing the semi-finished connecting element (102) in the direction of the longitudinal axis (136) of the semi-finished connecting element (102) into a longitudinal die opening (204) of a die (202), or being embossed in the semi-finished connecting element (102) by radially applying at least one movable forming body (206), and the at least one locking depression (122, 124) being embossed by radially applying at least one or multiple forming bodies (206) that are movable in the same die (202).

Railing system
A rail system. The rail system includes an upper rail member, a lower rail member and a plurality of balusters. The upper rail member, lower rail member and balusters secure together and to a support structure to form the rail system. The support structure may include columns, newels, walls and the like. The upper and lower rail members each include a cap that snaps onto a rail support. Fasteners may fasten the balusters directly to an upper rail support. Fasteners may further fasten the balusters directly to a lower cap.
SPINDLE AND STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY HAVING SAME
One steering column assembly includes a jacket, a bearing, and a steering spindle rotatably supported by the bearing and at least partially extending inside the jacket. The spindle includes a hollow outer tube and a hollow inner tube. The outer tube has lengthening and attachment sections, and the attachment section has transition and connection portions. The lengthening section adjoins the attachment section at an end of the transition portion, and the transition portion is between the lengthening section and the connection portion. The lengthening section has first and second portions, with the second portion being between the first and transition portions, and the outer tube terminates at an end of the connection portion. The inner tube is press-fit into the outer tube, and an end of the inner tube is adjacent the transition portion end. The inner tube does not extend into either the attachment section or the first portion.

SPRING LOAD ADJUSTING METHOD
A linear solenoid valve has a spring member and a spring load adjusting member, which is screwed into a sleeve member of the linear solenoid valve in order to adjust a spring load of the spring member. The sleeve member has a female screw portion and a swaged-claw forming portion is formed at an axial end surface of the female screw portion. Multiple swaging punches are prepared, each of which has a punching tooth portion of a punching portion. A punching area of the punching tooth portion differs from the swaging punch to the swaging punch. One of the multiple swaging punches is selected depending on a press-direction distance between the swaged-claw forming portion and an axial end surface of the adjust screw member. When the press-direction distance is smaller than a predetermined distance range, the swaging punch having a larger punching area for the punching tooth portion is selected, wherein the punching area is larger than a punching area of another swaging punch which is selected when the press-direction distance is larger than the predetermined distance range.
