Sealing device for construction, and associated manufacturing method
The sealing device for construction comprises a duct and a linking member mounted around and rigidly connected to the duct, wherein the duct comprises: an axial main portion around which the linking member is mounted, a radial bead formed on the main portion and extending radially outwards, and a distal end portion extending the main portion radially outwards and which is axially facing the bead to form therebetween an outwardly radially open annular mounting slot, the distal end portion extending radially beyond the bead, the main portion, the distal end portion and the bead of the duct being made of one piece, the linking member being mounted in the mounting slot and gripped axially between the bead and the distal end portion of the duct.
Collar and shaft assembly
A collar and shaft assembly utilizing a ring and a multi-stepped groove. The multi-stepped groove permits the ring to be compressed into one groove while the collar is being assembled and then to expand into a different groove that permits the ring to contact surfaces on both the collar and the shaft.
Golf club head having stress-reducing tubes
A golf club head comprising a body and a plurality of metal tubes is disclosed herein. The body comprises a face section, a sole section, and a return section, and also defines a hollow interior. Each of the plurality of metal tubes extends from the return section to the sole section to reduce stresses placed on the face during impact with a golf ball. The body and the metal tubes preferably are composed of a titanium alloy or stainless steel. After the metal tubes are inserted into apertures in the return section and the sole section of the body, each metal tube is mechanically attached to the body using a tool that causes the ends of each metal tube to flare outwards.
METHOD OF FORMING ASSEMBLY BETWEEN PANEL AND TUBE
A method of forming an assembly between a panel and a tube includes forming a hole in the panel, where a diameter of the hole is smaller than an outer diameter of the tube, and preforming a first end of the tube to conceal the hole of the panel. A diameter of the preformed portion is greater than the diameter of the hole and the outer diameter of the tube. The method further includes aligning a second end of the tube with the hole of the panel, followed by inserting the tube into the hole by application of axial force on the tube until the preformed first end of the tube abuts a periphery of the hole of the panel. The method also includes achieving an interference fit between the hole of the panel and the tube.
TOOL AND METHOD FOR COMPRESSING A STENTED PROSTHESIS
A tool for compressing a stented prosthesis. The tool includes first and second sets of rollers. The first set includes a plurality of rollers arranged to define a first working region having a first working diameter. The second set includes a plurality of rollers arranged to define a second working region having a second working diameter. The sets of rollers are arranged such that the working regions are axially aligned. The first working diameter is greater than the second working diameter. A stented prosthesis traversing the first working region and then the second working region is forced to a compressed state. In some embodiments, the tool includes one or more intermediate sets of rollers between the first and second sets of rollers, with each of the intermediate sets of rollers defining a working region having a working diameter. The respective working diameters progressively decrease in a downstream direction.
A SCAFFOLD ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
The present invention provides a scaffold assembly, in particular a combination of a conventional tubular scaffold tube or pole and a rosette type coupling which enables the connection of additional scaffold components to the scaffold assembly, the coupling and tubular element being fixed relative to one another by means of at least one abutment which is cold formed in the tubular element such as to fix the coupling in position relative thereto.

Method for producing a steel component assembly and steel component assembly
A method is provided for producing a steel component assembly, wherein a steel component having a predetermined breaking point is provided and the predetermined breaking point of the steel component is punched through by way of a press-fit element in order to form an opening. Subsequently, the press-fit element is pressed into the opening of the steel component, and, at least in overlap with the press-fit element, a component is adhesively bonded to the steel component by an adhesive applied over an area. A friction-drilling hole is melted through the press-fit element, the steel component and the component by way of a friction-drilling element.
Method and device for joining members
A method for joining members according to the present invention includes: providing a first member, a second member, a guide shaft member, a rubber member, a first plunger, a second plunger, and a drive mechanism; inserting the second member into a hole portion of the first member; inserting the guide shaft member into a through-hole of the rubber member; inserting the rubber member, into which the guide shaft member is inserted, inside the second member; arranging an assembly in which the first member, the second member, the rubber member, and the guide shaft member so as to horizontally extend; arranging the assembly so as to be sandwiched by the first plunger and the second plunger; and moving the second plunger toward the first plunger; compressing the rubber member by the first plunger and the second plunger in a direction where the guide shaft member extends, and expanding the rubber member radially outside the guide shaft member; and thus expanding and deforming at least a portion of the second member that is inserted into the hole portion to join the portion to the first member by press-fitting.
