A centering system comprising a conveyor for receiving a plurality of blanks outputted from a furnace and displacing the blanks along a first horizontal axis and shifting units for each individual blank including two or more adjustable lifting bars, the shifting units configured to move along a second horizontal axis, and the adjustable lifting bars being configured to lift the blanks along a vertical axis, wherein each of the shifting units is independently movable along the second axis, and a plurality of centering pins for centering the blanks, such that the blanks can be centered by moving the individual blanks along the second axis against the centering pins. Also disclosed are conveyor systems and methods for centering and conveying blanks.

A ball screw is provided to a first elevating member so as to be rotatable, and a nut member to be screwed into the ball screw is provided to a first support block. One end side of a stretch in the lateral direction is connected to an upper end portion of the first elevating member, and the other end side of the stretch in the lateral direction is connected, so as to be rotationally movable, to an upper end portion of a second elevating member. A support mechanism for supporting the stretch from below is provided to the first elevating member, and an abutting member is provided to the stretch.

Rear stop device for a bending machine

The invention relates to a rear stop unit (7) with a stop and/or gripping and/or measuring element (10) for positioning a sheet (3) to be machined on a bending press. The stop and/or gripping and/or measuring element (10) is arranged on an adjustable bearing arm (13) by means of a pivot joint (12). The bearing arm (13) is connected to a guide rail (20) by means of an additional pivot joint (18) via a guide element (19). The rear stop unit (7) further comprises a support arm (21) which is connected to the bearing arm (13) via a joint (22) and to an additional guide element (24) via a rigid connection, and the support arm is connected to the guide rail (20) via the additional guide element. Furthermore, the joint (22) is designed as a rotational/prismatic joint. The position of the bearing arm (13) can thereby be adjusted by moving the support arm (21) in a linear manner along a guide direction (11) specified by the guide rail (20).

Rear stop device for a bending machine

The invention relates to a rear stop unit (7) with a stop and/or gripping and/or measuring element (10) for positioning a sheet (3) to be machined on a bending press. The stop and/or gripping and/or measuring element (10) is arranged on an adjustable bearing arm (13) by means of a pivot joint (12). The device also comprises a reaction member (48A) fixed with respect to the base (12) and capable of cooperating with a reaction zone of the blocking arm (38) by defining a reaction surface inclined with respect to the translation direction X of the support on the base. The pivoting of the lever allowed by the release of the retention means allows the displacement of the contact member.

The device comprises a base (12), a mobile support (14), a contact member (16), a lever (34) which comprises a blocking arm (38) pivotally mounted around an axis (36). The device comprises retention means (40, 42) capable of opposing the pivoting of the lever. The device also comprises a reaction member (48A) fixed with respect to the base (12) and capable of cooperating with a reaction zone of the blocking arm (38) by defining a reaction surface inclined with respect to the translation direction X of the support on the base. The pivoting of the lever allowed by the release of the retention means allows the displacement of the contact member.

SWIVEL BENDING MACHINE

A swivel bending machine has, in front of a front side of a workpiece holding unit, a support table for workpieces to be bent. A workpiece manipulator picks up workpieces to be bent from at least one table end region and takes the workpieces, in parallel with the longitudinal direction of a bending beam, to a portion in the longitudinal center of the workpiece holding unit. The workpiece manipulator has a first pair of clamping tongs and, spaced apart from the first pair in the longitudinal direction of the bending beam, a second pair of clamping tongs for clamping a workpiece. At least one pair of clamping tongs has a first stop surface for referencing workpiece positioning in relation to the longitudinal direction of the bending beam and a second stop surface for referencing positioning of this workpiece in relation to a depth direction of the swivel bending machine.
