Multi-gear supporting and adjustment mechanism, and adjustable seat
A multi-gear adjustable support mechanism includes a base plate, a support plate, a support element, a gear forming element having gear grooves and a limiting part and a gear controller having an abutting part and a platform. The support element includes a support crossbar for supporting the support plate at a different angle from the base plate. A moving surface of the gear forming element bears and supports the movement of the support crossbar. The platform is aligned with the moving surface at the position of the gear groove closest to the limiting part when the support crossbar moves and reaches the limiting part. The support crossbar moves on the surface of the platform part and passes the gear groove when the support crossbar returns from the limiting part. An adjustable seat is provided including the multi-gear adjustable support mechanism.
REMOVABLE SEATING ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLE CARGO AREA
The present invention is directed to a removable seating assembly for the cargo area of a vehicle. The assembly comprises a support base adapted to fit with the recess of a vehicle cargo area and a cushion adapted to rest on and be support by the support base. In a preferred embodiment the cushion is curved and the cushion edges extends laterally beyond the top surface of the support base. The assembly can support the weight of a human. Preferably, the cargo area is a front trunk of a vehicle.

The present invention is directed to a removable seating assembly for the cargo area of a vehicle. The assembly comprises a support base adapted to fit with the recess of a vehicle cargo area and a cushion adapted to rest on and be support by the support base. A foldable cushion includes a cushion mechanism and a connecting mechanism. The cushion mechanism includes a seat unit and a back unit. The seat unit and the back unit are juxtaposed and movable relative to each other along a transverse folding line. The connecting mechanism includes a first endless cord and a second endless cord. The first endless cord and the second endless cord respectively extend through the transverse folding line and are flexibly arranged on the seat unit and the back unit. When the seat unit and the back unit are moved relative to the transverse folding line, the first endless cord and the second endless cord are stretched, so that the seat unit and the back unit are positioned at an expanded state by the elastic force of the first endless cord and the second endless cord.

An ergonomic method for working in confined work spaces is disclosed. The method, in some cases, includes the steps of: a) providing a support structure that is generally in the configuration of a rectangular prism having six faces, a length, width, and a height in which the length, width, and height differ from one another so that the structure provides three different height positions when the support structure is placed on the floor of the workspace; b) placing the support structure with one of its faces in contact with a contoured floor surface in a confined work space; and c) sitting or standing on the support structure.

Each of the furniture sections includes at least one electrical outlet. The electrical wiring assembly is received on the base of each of the furniture sections and is concealed beneath the seat during normal usage. When the user desires access to the electrical wiring assembly, one or more of the seats can pivot away from the base to provide access to the electrical wiring assembly. After the electrical wiring assembly has been accessed, the seat can pivot back into contact with the base where it is securely held to both the base and the lounge back.

MODULAR FURNITURE WITH REPLACEABLE PANELS
An article of furniture including a bottom frame, a plurality of panels forming an outer surface of the article of furniture, and a plurality of struts for securing the panels in place. The bottom frame has an outer periphery which is securable to at least some of the panels. The bottom frame is configured for placement on a floor surface. Further, each strut has an elongated member configured for securement to at least two adjacent panels which are oriented in different planes from one another. The adjacent panels are secured to the respective struts with removable fasteners.
