Conductor shaping apparatus and method
A conductor shaping apparatus with first and second shaping dies that are movable toward and away from each other along a first direction, and that are moved toward each other to shape the at least one first bent portion and the at least one second bent portion, wherein one of the first and second shaping dies is configured to be moved away from the other along a second direction that is different from the first direction such that the conductor is not dragged when the first and second shaping dies are moved away from each other along the first direction after shaping of the first and second bent portions is completed.
BENDING-FORMING JIG
A bending-forming jig used in bending and forming a protruding portion of a leg portion of a U-shaped conductor toward a circumferential direction, the protruding portion protruding from an axial end surface of a stator core, the bending-forming jig including a ring portion and a claw portion, the claw portion including a first abutting surface that rises from an axial end surface of the ring portion with the surface directed in the circumferential direction and abuts against a tip portion of the protruding portion from the circumferential direction, and a projecting portion that projects, at a tip end of the claw portion, in the circumferential direction from the abutting surface and abuts against the tip portion of the protruding portion from the axial direction toward the axial end surface of the ring portion.
METAL FIBER, AND METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING METAL FIBER
A metal fiber for fiber reinforced concrete includes a linear main body that extends in an X-Y plane, having width in a Y direction, a length in an X direction, and a thickness in a Z direction within a three dimensional space defined by X, Y, and Z axes which are perpendicular to each other. Ends of the linear main body are bent portions which are bent at an obtuse angle in the Z direction. An elongate metal plate is intermittently conveyed in the Y direction on a die of a pressing machine at a pitch corresponding to the width of the metal fiber in the Y direction. The leading end of the metal plate is sheared to cut out and produce the metal fiber.
Orthodontic wire bending device
An orthodontic wire bending device includes a providing part, a bending unit and a cutting part. The providing part is configured to provide a wire. The bending unit is disposed at a front side of the providing part, and includes a fixing part and a bending part. The fixing part is configured to fix the wire. The bending part is configured to bend the wire fixed by the fixing part. The cutting part is configured to cut the wire bent by the bending part. The bending part includes a bending module, and the bending module is rotated along a circumferential direction or moves along a direction to make contact with at least one side of the wire for bending the wire.
METHOD OF INSERTING A HAIRPIN
A method can be used for molding a hairpin inserted into a stator core using a clamping unit that includes a connection bracket mounted on a front end of a robot arm and at least one clamper mounted on the connection bracket. The method includes reciprocally driving the clamping unit in opposite directions in a straight line, and press molding a head portion of the hairpin using a molding jig driven by the at least one clamper.
Machine and Method of Introducing a Camber into a Length of Wire
The present application provides a machine and a method of introducing a camber into a length of wire being conveyed along a path through a machine. As part of introducing the camber, the wire is guided through the machine via at least a first set of rollers and a second set of rollers. The wire being conveyed along the path is diverted via an offset mechanism, which laterally deflects the wire being conveyed away from a straight line route formed between respective wire feed points associated with each of the first and second sets of rollers, wherein the offset mechanism is located between the first set of rollers and the second set of rollers. The diversion in the path of the wire via the offset mechanism introduces the camber having a direction into the wire.
TOOL FOR WIRE FORMING
A tool for wire forming is provided. The tool for wire forming may include a first anvil having a first chamber. The tool for wire forming further includes a second anvil having a second chamber. The tool for wire forming further includes a mandrel having a first portion disposed in the first chamber, a second portion disposed in the second chamber, and a third portion in between the first portion and the second portion. The third portion may include a recess configured to receive a wire. The second anvil may be configured to be actuated from an open position to a closed position to transform the wire into a formed wire.
Press for forming jewelry from silverware
A workpiece bending press has a vertical ram with a lateral through-hole near the bottom. A first elongated mandrel has an end that mounts in the through-hole. The first mandrel mounting end has a cavity that receives an end of a second mandrel. The first mandrel then extends from a first side of the ram, and the second mandrel extends from the opposite side of the ram. Workpiece forming blocks may be placed under each mandrel, providing two different mandrels and forming blocks on the ram at once for different pressing stages or different workpiece diameters. One or both mandrels may be part of a set of interchangeable mandrels with different outer diameters. The ram may be operated by a lever that is quickly movable to the left or right side of the press for convenient use of mandrels extending from the left and right sides of the ram.
COIL SEGMENT FORMING APPARATUS, COIL SEGMENT FORMING METHOD AND MANUFACTURING APPARATUS OF ELECTRICAL ROTATING MACHINE
A coil segment forming apparatus, a coil segment forming method and a manufacturing apparatus of an electrical rotating machine, whereby coil segments with various kinds of shape can be formed without exchanging a press die, and it is not necessary that a lot of coil segments of various kinds of shape are preliminarily formed and stocked is provided. The coil segment forming apparatus includes a first bending section for bending in the same plane a linear wire rod into a predetermined shape consisting of a pair of slot insertion portions that are substantially parallel to each other and a linking portion for connecting the pair of slot insertion portions. The first bending section has a plurality of jigs arranged on the same plane for supporting the wire rod, and a plurality of drive mechanisms for moving respectively the plurality of jigs on the same plane so that the wire rod is formed in the predetermined shape based on moving amounts respectively set depending on shape conditions of the coil segment to be formed.
Contact bending unit and contact bending apparatus
A contact bending unit comprises a frame and a bending tool pivotally mounted on the frame. The bending tool has a row of receiving slots formed in a bottom surface of the bending tool receiving a plurality of contacts. The bending tool bends the contacts when the bending tool is rotated.
