Chair assembly with upholstery covering
A seating unit component assembly comprises a support component that includes a first surface adapted to abut a seated user, a second surface opposite the first surface, a first end surface, a second end surface opposite the first end surface, and a pair of side surfaces extending between the first and second end surfaces, and a cover having a plurality of sides that cooperate to form an interior space that receives the support component therein, wherein the cover includes a first portion comprising a non-fabric substantially flexible thermoplastic material covering at least a portion of at least one of the side surfaces of the support component, a second portion comprising a fabric covering at least a portion of the first surface and at least a portion of the first end surface of the support component, and a third portion comprising a substantially rigid overlay covering at least a portion of the second end surface and at least a portion of the second surface.
Chair with coupling companion stool base
A desk chair includes a seat with a back rest and a rigid frame joining the seat and backrest, and a pedestal base preferably with tilt and rotational capabilities. The chair is securely coupled to the base in the desk chair configuration but may be decoupled from the base and placed on the floor beside the base. To accomplish this arrangement, the chair is equipped with a set of four-and-aft extending rails that are integral with the frame which is attached to the seat. These rails rest on the floor only when the chair portion is decoupled from the pedestal base.

Chair arm assembly
A chair assembly includes a base assembly, a seat assembly having a pair of side edges and a fore-to-aft extending longitudinal centerline, a back assembly movable between upright and reclined positions, and an arm assembly including an arm base extending from a first location between the side edges to a second location laterally outward of one of the side edges, wherein the arm base extends at an acute angle with respect to the longitudinal centerline and at an upward angle from the first location toward the second location, a support assembly supported by and extending upwardly from the arm base, and an armrest supported by the support assembly that is adjustable to support the armrest between a plurality of selected vertical positions, wherein the arm assembly and back assembly move at a different rate from one another as the back assembly is moved between the upright and reclined positions.

Hydraulic buffering leg cushion
A hydraulic buffering leg cushion is mounted to a supporting platform. The hydraulic buffering leg cushion includes a leg cushion body, a movable unit, and a fixed connecting member. The leg cushion body is provided with a leg cushion accommodating space, and includes an upper cover, and a lower cover. The movable unit is received in the leg cushion accommodating space, and includes a piston, a membrane assembly, a rubber bowl, and a movable portion. The rubber bowl is clamped, at its outer circumference, by and between the upper cover and the lower cover, so as to partition a damping accommodating space for receiving damping oil. The movable portion and the rubber bowl are pressed, in sequence, onto the piston. The piston is provided with a damping channel, and is connected with the lower cover through a restoring spring. The membrane assembly is disposed underneath the piston, and forms, with the piston, a one-way valve structure. The restoring spring passes through the membrane assembly. The fixed connecting member is fixedly arranged on the movable portion of the movable unit. As such, by using the supporting force of the restoring spring and the damping oil in the damping accommodating space for providing with buffering hydraulic pressure, a balance for the supporting platform can be adjusted automatically to a balance within an effective range for the supporting platform, without the need of a manual adjustment for a balance. This will ensure stability of the supporting platform without shaking easily.

Exercise chair
An exercise chair is disclosed having an adjustable height that functions to exercise the lower body by progressively lowering the height of the seat. By lowering the height of the seat, the user will increase the amount of muscle activation and therefore facilitate lower extremity strengthening. The seat of the exercise chair can be adjusted between 24 inch maximum height to 12 inch minimum height from the floor. The chair may be used as a therapy chair by a therapy professional or by an individual who wants to exercise his or her lower extremities or to facilitate standing by a seated individual.
