SEATING ARRANGEMENT
A seating arrangement includes a support shell including a seat portion and a chair back portion each configured to support a seated user, the chair seat portion having a front region and a rear region and the chair back portion having an upper region and a lower region, where the rear region of the seat portion is coupled to the lower region of the chair back portion, a control member including a substantially flexible front support and an attachment point, where the front support engages the support shell in the front region of the seat portion and the control member engages the back portion, and a substantially rigid second support attached to the control member at the attachment point, wherein the control member is an integral, one-piece component including multiple flex regions configured to allow the support shell to move between an upright and reclined position.
GET-UP ASSISTANCE DEVICE, GET-UP ASSISTANCE METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A get-up assistance device controls a position of a user by driving a driving mechanism so that a load level on a circulatory system based on a height difference between a center of gravity of a whole body of a user and a heart of the user becomes not less than a predetermined value with a load level on the circulatory system in a standing position as a reference.

Electric motion chair
An electric motion chair may include a chair, a motor, one or more sensors, and a control system. The motor is coupled to the chair and configured to move the chair in one or more degrees of freedom. The motor is further configured to include an activated state and a deactivated state. The activated state includes the motor moving the chair and the deactivated state includes the motor stopping to move the chair. Each one or more sensors is configured to detect an object at a respective relative distance to each one or more sensors. The control system electrically coupled to the one or more sensors and electrically coupled to the motor. The control system configured to automatically transition the motor from the activated state to the deactivated state when the object is detected.

MOTORIZED MULTIMODAL SIMULATOR SYSTEM WITH CONVERTIBLE SEAT
A convertible seat assembly comprising: a seat bottom having a longitudinal axis, a top surface, a bottom surface, a first side, and a second side; and first and second side components disposed on the first and second sides of the seat bottom, the first and second side components having first and second planar surfaces, wherein the first and second side components are configured to move between folded and unfolded position, wherein the first and second planar surfaces are substantially parallel to the top surface of the seat bottom when the first and second side components are in the folded position, wherein the first and second side components are adjacent the bottom surface of the seat bottom when in the unfolded position, wherein the first and second side components rotate up to one hundred eighty degrees around the longitudinal axis when moving between the folded and unfolded positions.
Convertible chair
A convertible chair adapted for conversion between a sitting configuration and a kneeling configuration includes_a base support, a knee-back rest movably coupled to the base support by a pivot arm, a seat movably coupled to the base support by a coupling mechanism, and a connecting arm linking the pivot arm and the seat. The seat is arranged to move relative to the base support between a first seat position corresponding to the sitting configuration and a second seat position corresponding to the kneeling configuration. The pivot arm is arranged to pivot relative to the base support between a first pivot arm position in which the knee-back rest is in a first knee-back rest position for use as a back rest and a second pivot arm position in which the knee-back rest is in a second knee-back rest position for use as a knee rest.

Portable stool
A portable stool that is configured to provide support for a user in an upright position wherein the present invention further provides controlled rotational movement for the user. The present invention includes a seat member wherein the seat member is supported by leg members. The leg members are adjustable in length and placed at an angle so as to angularly position the seat member at an angle of approximately thirty degrees when the portable stool is in its deployed state. The seat member includes a base member wherein the base member is rotationally coupled to a top portion of the seat member. Movement members are operably coupled to the base member and top portion of the seat member and provide a biased return to a neutral position ensuing the top portion of the seat member being rotatably moved. Light modules are present on the leg members.
