A method and apparatus for rebar cage construction is disclosed. A computerized controller operates an apparatus that automates parts of the rebar cage formation process. The computer controls motors for rotating the barrel and operating a wagon containing spiral coil wire. Initial rods are placed on a plurality of latitudinal conveyors. Dual cage ring assemblies are placed on the latitudinal conveyors, and notches or slots within the cage rings engage with the initial rods. The conveyors rotate the dual cage ring assemblies and a rod dispenser places a rod in additional notches. The rods, when completely installed, form a barrel structure. A wagon containing spiral coil wire is then moved longitudinally while the conveyors rotate to wrap the spiral coil wire around the barrel, to form a spiraled rebar cage.

SYSTEM AND METHOD OF HANDLING SLENDER BODIES IN A MACHINING AND VERIFICATION PLANT
20200122221 · 2020-04-23 ·

A method and a system for handling slender bodies in a semi-finished production plant includes a cutting station separating slender bodies from a continuous wire, a finishing station of the head ends of the slender bodies, a dimensional verification station downstream of the finishing station, and transporting equipment transporting the slender bodies between stations. At or upstream of the cutting station a marking unit applies a reference marking on the slender bodies, which working identifies an original attitude including angular position. The transporting equipment includes gripping and locking assembly, locking at least the angular position of the reference mark to a relative reference system of the transport equipment. Upstream of the finishing station is a detecting and storing unit for data of the angular position to the relative reference system. A unit determines the original attitude of the slender bodies using the data in the dimensional verification station.

Movement devices are associated with the support plane configured to distribute the metal products on the support plane and to move them toward the pick-up zone. The handling devices comprise a plurality of transfer arms provided with magnetic holding elements in order to magnetically hold one of the metal products.

High-speed mesh producing machines and processes with mesh distortion negation and occupied space reduction

The present invention relates to machines, systems and processes for feeding longitudinal wires (2) for mesh (6) production. Welding of longitudinal wires (2) with transverse wires (4) at welding unit (57) produces mesh (6). Longitudinal wires (2) are controllably rotated around their longitudinal axes to selected angles, and restrained until their welding with transverse wires (4), thus negating effects of residual curvature from roller straightener (36) and resulting in mesh (6) produced planar with distortion stresses effectively neutralized. A wire collector (79) releases a first longitudinal wire (2) for guided travel laterally to a receptacle (45). A rotator unit (71) simultaneously controllably rotates this wire, while the collector (79) simultaneously receives the length of the next longitudinal wire. Particular rotator units (71) facilitate such operation. In some versions an advancement roller assembly (120) proximate to the welding unit (57) may advance longitudinal wires (2) through the welding unit, freeing a longitudinal wires carrier (31) to return to the longitudinal storage (32) and to receive a next set of longitudinal wires.

AUTO STATOR WINDING SYSTEM AND METHOD
20200076282 · 2020-03-05 ·

An automated technique facilitates winding a stator, such as a stator for a submersible motor of an electric submersible pumping system. According to an embodiment, needles are placed in slots of the stator and a sensor system, e.g. a camera-based vision system, is used to determine the positions of the needles. This data is provided to a control system programmed to assign a predetermined wiring pattern to the needle positions. Based on this predetermined wiring pattern, an automatic feeder system moves a feeder guide into position adjacent the appropriate needles. The automatic feeder system is then operated to feed magnet wire into the corresponding stator slot at the corresponding needle position(s) to achieve a desired winding pattern.

Steel bar transverse stepping conveying equipment and control method

A steel bar transverse stepping conveying equipment is provided, including a base, and a front movable clamp area and a rear fixed clamp area arranged on the base. The front movable clamp area and the rear fixed clamp area are connected by a rear fixed clamp area connecting guiderail mechanism for relative translation. A method for controlling the steel bar transverse stepping conveying equipment is further provided. The steel bar transverse stepping conveying equipment is provided with a plurality of clamp mechanisms. A front-movable-clamp-area clamp clamps the steel bar and shifts the steel bar to a next position step by step; then the steel bar is clamped by a rear fixed clamp area clamp, and the front-movable-clamp-area clamp is released and returned to an original position; and the previous action is repeated until the stepping conveying of the steel bar is completed.
