WOBBLE STOOL AND BASE
A wobble base provides a curved floor-contacting surface with one or more alignment posts that align the wobble base to the bottom of a seating platform and one or more holes separate from the alignment posts through which one or more fasteners may be placed to attach the wobble base to the seating platform, thereby providing a wobble stool. The wobble base can be configured to convert an existing stool into a wobble stool by replacing one or more floor-contacting members with the wobble base. In a second embodiment, a seating platform, such as a stool, is provided with both traditional floor-contacting members, such as feet or casters, and with a wobble base that allows the traditional floor-contacting members to be removed and replaced with the wobble base, and allows the wobble base to be removed and replaced with the traditional floor-contacting members.
SEAT TRANSIT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A seat skate assembly is configured to be secured to a fitting of a seat assembly. The seat skate assembly includes a pin-retaining guide including a plurality of pin cavities configured to receive and retain one or more pins of the fitting, one or more wheel couplers, and one or more wheel members rotatably coupled to the wheel coupler(s). The wheel member(s) allow the seat assembly to be moved.
Spring actuated rocking mechanism for collapsible chair
A spring actuated rocking mechanism can be attached to the legs of a collapsible chair to allow for the user to rock in the collapsible chair. The mechanism may be attached at the factory or retrofitted to the chair. The rocking mechanism can be attached to the end of a leg or disposed within a leg, having a leg portion above and below the mechanism.
Supporting Frame For A Piece Of Furniture
A supporting frame for a piece of furniture, wherein the supporting frame includes at least one outer side, and wherein the supporting frame is made out of one continuous piece of material. The supporting frame including several layers, wherein each layer includes one and the same single continuous piece of material in the entire extent of the layer and wherein each individual layer is contiguous with at least a second layer. Hereby, improved manufacturing, a stronger supporting frame and a wider range of useful materials for supporting frames are obtained.
Technician's work chair
A technician's work chair having a frame, an air cushion assembly, a seat assembly, and air hose and a pivoting hose support. The air cushion assembly is attached to the frame and supports the frame on an air cushion formed above a floor surface. The seat assembly has a cushion portion on the frame and a seatback portion with a mechanism that changes an angle of inclination of the seatback portion. A technician seated in the seat assembly can ergonomically operate tools and complete tasks with arms raised over the technician's head. The air hose having a first end connected to a compressed air source and a second end connected to the air cushion assembly. The pivoting hose support biases the air hose to move in a rearward direction relative to the technician's work chair.
Portable, ergonomic, and selectively adjustable umbrella and seat support structure
A support structure including an umbrella having an extension pole, and a base capable of being positioned on a bottom surface of a pool wherein the base has a through-hole. An umbrella base connector is seated within the through-hole. An articulating mechanism is adjustably coupled to the at least one extension pole of the umbrella and to the umbrella base connector, a first connector has a top end attached to the extension pole of the umbrella, and further has a first adjustable portion opposed from the top end. A second connector has a bottom end attached to the umbrella base connector, and further has a second adjustable portion opposed from the bottom end. The first adjustable portion is rotatably affixed to the second adjustable portion such that the umbrella and the extension pole of the umbrella are articulated relative to a stationary position of the base.
Technician's work chair
A technician's work chair includes a frame, first, second and third air cushion devices, a seat assembly and an electronic task guiding system. The seal assembly has a cushion portion and a seatback portion. The cushion portion is supported to the seat supporting portion of the frame. The seatback portion has an inclination adjusting mechanism operable to change an angle of inclination of the seatback portion relative to the frame. The electronic task guiding system is supported to the frame, the electronic task guiding system being configured to provide the technician with task related signals.
Modular sofa
A furnishing having a horizontally oriented base component, a base depth extension, and a vertically oriented side component is disclosed. The base depth extension having a front surface coupled to the horizontally oriented base component and a back surface that is substantially parallel to the front surface. The vertically oriented side component is coupled to the back surface of the base depth extension.
Telescopic single-legged portable working chair
The present invention relates to a single-legged portable working chair using a compression repulsive force of a spring body, wherein: when used, the telescopic single-legged portable working chair is worn on a user's body such that, when the user sits down, the spring body is compressed by the weight of the user's body to store power, and when the user stands up, the spring body pushes up the user's body using the compressed power, so that the power consumption required for the sitting and standing actions of the body can be reduced; when the user repeatedly lifts a weight, the load applied to the user's joints and muscles is alleviated by the magnitude of a repulsive force of the spring body.
Extension connecting structure for a chair leg
The present invention provides an extension connecting structure for mounting onto a chair leg. The extension connecting structure includes a connecting plate, a base plate and a connecting part. An end of the connecting plate is connected to the base plate. The connecting part is disposed at another end of the connecting piece. The connecting part is configured to mount the chair leg. As such, the supporting strength of the chair leg may be reinforced by the connecting plate and the base plate. In such a way, the chair may be prevented from falling backwards due to the unstable center of gravity, and the user may be prevented from getting injured.
