Orthodedic Device and Method
An orthopedic device; the orthopedic device includes a cushion having a left side and a right side having different heights to level and correct a lateral pelvic tilt in a seated user. In one embodiment, the left side and the right side may each include pads for supporting respective buttocks of the seated user seated with lateral pelvic tilt. In another embodiment, the cushion may be used for supporting just one buttock of the seated user seated with lateral pelvic tilt. A method for diagnosing lateral pelvic tilt and for using the orthopedic device to correct the lateral pelvic tilt is also disclosed herein. The orthopedic device is useful for relieving, or at least substantially relieving, back pain and pressure associated with lateral pelvic tilt.
Ergonomic Massage Chair
An ergonomic massage chair is configured with back and bottom structures held up by a pair of legs. The various support bars and structure of the ergonomic massage chair may be comprised of, in typical implementations, metal, but plastic and other suitable structures are also possible. The back structure has perimeter support bars that form the base of the back support, and horizontal support bars extend from a left perimeter support bar to a right perimeter support bar. The bottom structure likewise has a perimeter support bar that forms the structure of the bottom. A horizontal support bar extends from a left perimeter support bar to a right perimeter support bar. Nodes are attached to the ergonomic chair, and stability balls fit inside openings created by the support bars and nodes. A cover having memory foam pillows therein encapsulates the chair to provide users with customized setups that suit them.
KNIT SEAT BACK FOR AN OFFICE CHAIR
A seat back for an office chair includes a knit material for extending over a structural frame. The knit material can be formed in a single knitting operation to include cushioning characteristics that vary across different regions of the knit material. The knit material may be a weft knit material having a first layer, a second layer, and a third layer, wherein the third layer is inlayed between the first and second layers and the inlay material is different from at least the first and second layers and provides a degree of cushioning between the first and second layers. The first and second layers are knit according to a predetermined pattern, the predetermined pattern determining crossing lines where the first and second layers cross one another and fix the third layer in position with respect to the first and second layers. The predetermined pattern is differentiated between regions of the back support, such that a first region of the back support has a higher density of crossing lines than a second region of the back support, the first region providing a different degree of cushioning than the second region.
CHAIR WITH VARIABLE POSITIONING AND SUPPORT
An adjustable chair frame with a back and seating surfaces that flex to conform to the shape, weight and movement of an occupant is disclosed. The chair form and proportions provide for a recumbent position that disperses the weight of the occupant more evenly, thereby reducing external and internal physiological point loading. The form also provides ergonomic articulation to minimize internal physiological stresses such as neck/back vertebral compression. Eccentric connections driven by a motor assembly allow positioning adjustment of the components of the chair. Additionally, an air pump assembly may be included to automatically adjust one or more air bladders provided on the interior of the chair frame.
CONFIGURABLE STACKING CHAIRS WITH QUICK-CONNECT INTERCHANGEABLE BACKS
The present disclosure relates to configurable stacking chairs having a standard seat base frame design to which different interchangeable seat backs can be quickly and easily attached. The seat base frames and the interchangeable seat backs may include corresponding quick-connect features that allow selective attachment therebetween. The interchangeable seat backs may be attached to a standard seat base frame via a magnetic connection. Each interchangeable seat back can have a different unique design allowing for a quick change of appearance by exchanging one interchangeable seat back design for another. The interchangeable seat backs and the standard seat base frames can be stored separately and take up less space than completely assembled or fixed back chairs.
Inflatable bucket lid seat and harness
A toting apparatus can include a bucket, a combination lid and seat cushion, and a harness for carrying the apparatus while the lid covers the top opening of the bucket and the cushion is in the inflated or deflated configuration. The cushion can be formed by a drop-stitch type bladder inflatable using a common hand-operated bicycle pump. The harness can include a belt that wraps around the bucket and a pair or diametrically spaced-apart straps that adjustably and snuggly attach to a central handle structure atop the lid. Various corresponding patches of hook-and-vane style fabric fasteners allow for releasable affixation of various components of the apparatus. Thus the harness can be made of durable flexible fabric.

FOAM SEAT WITH REMOVABLE NESTING INSERT
A foam-based seat and an enclosure for a foam-based seat is provided. The foam-based seat includes a base, main body, a cutout opening formed in the main body, fitted fabric configured to encase the main body, and a removable nesting insert configured to friction fit within the cutout opening. The removable nesting insert can be inserted into the cutout opening, or removed, to provide a myriad of seating arrangements. The foam-based seat may constitute a variety of geometries, including one embodiment that is square with a square removable nesting insert, and another embodiment that is round with an expanded base and a circular nesting insert. The enclosure for a foam-based seat includes a rigid frame with two ends, an internal opening configured to circumscribe a foam-based seat, and a shelving unit that extends from the two ends of the rigid frame.
Rattan chair back connector, connection assembly, and rattan chair
A connector comprises a body, a first connection part, and a second connection part. The first connection part and the second connection part are respectively disposed at two adjacent side surfaces of the body of the connector. The first connection part and a horizontal rod are engaged, the second connection part and a vertical rod are engaged, to form a detachable connection between the horizontal rod and the vertical rod with the connector. Without dealing with an over edging operation of a boundary and a corner of the frame, the rattan pieces are directly connected to the horizontal rod or the vertical rod, to perform the weaving of the chair back, which greatly reduces the difficulty of weaving. The first side surface is a step shaped surface, which reduces the difficulty of the engaged connection between the first connection part and the horizontal rod. The connector is a one-piece structure.
