Shaft member for fluid bearing device, manufacturing method therefor, and fluid bearing device
A shaft member for a fluid bearing device includes, on an outer peripheral surface thereof, two bearing surfaces (31 and 32) separated from each other in an axial direction, and a middle relief portion (33) formed between the bearing surfaces (31 and 32) and having a diameter smaller than a diameter of the bearing surfaces. The middle relief portion (33) includes a cylindrical surface portion (331) having a ground surface, and stepped portions (332) arranged on both axial sides of the cylindrical surface portion and having a diameter difference from the cylindrical surface portion.
Method for producing a motor shaft of a rotor of an electric motor
A motor shaft of an electric motor is produced by producing and interconnecting a first module and an additional module of the motor shaft. The first module of the motor shaft and/or the additional module of the motor shaft is or are provided with a module-end connection element by cold forming and/or by warm forming and/or by hot forming a base module. The first module of the motor shaft produced in this way and the additional module of the motor shaft produced in this way are then interconnected by joining the module-end connection elements on both ends. A motor shaft produced according to this method is formed of a correspondingly configured first module and a correspondingly configured additional module.
Method and device for monitoring the functional state of a shaping tooth arrangement on a forming tool
In a method for monitoring a functional state of a shaping tooth arrangement on a forming tool, at measurement times which are temporally staggered with respect to each other at a plurality of measurement locations on the shaping tooth arrangement, a tooth arrangement force is measured which acts on the shaping tooth arrangement. At each of the measurement times for each of the measurement locations an instantaneous local tooth arrangement force is thereby determined. A previous instantaneous local tooth arrangement force and a subsequent instantaneous local tooth arrangement force are correlated with each other to determine a local state identification value. On the basis of the local state identification values associated with the measurement locations, information is obtained relating to the functional state of the shaping tooth arrangement.
END PIECE FOR CAMSHAFT
A method of manufacturing an end piece for a camshaft may include forming a shape of an end piece to be coupled to a camshaft by compacting steel and powder in a net-shape manner and by sintering steel and a powder compact that are preassembled to each other.

Motor and camshaft thereof, and manufacturing method for camshaft
Engine and its camshaft, camshaft manufacturing method, the camshaft comprises a central shaft having an axial hole, the central shaft has a fitting section, the outer circumference of a cross section at any axial position of the fitting section is a polygon; a first cam and a second cam, the first cam and second cam are respectively installed on the fitting section of the central shaft and are spaced axially. Such a structure has the advantages of higher torque transmission, simpler structure, simplified manufacturing process, shorter manufacturing time consumption and reduced cost.

Method of making an axle
A one-piece axle and a method of manufacture. The method may include providing a one-piece axle blank that has a shaft and a flange. The shaft may have a hole that may extend along an axis. The flange may extend radially outward from an end of the shaft. The shaft may be radially forged against a first mandrel to axially elongate the shaft.
Metal sleeve and method for producing it
A method for producing a metal sleeve includes providing a first metal sleeve semi-finished product having a metal body. The metal body surrounds an inner channel. At least one groove is located in the metal body on the side of the inner channel. The first metal sleeve semi-finished product is pressed into a first die by means of a punch and in the process is formed by impact extrusion into the metal sleeve to be produced. The first die is designed such that a proximal front edge, which is spaced apart from the distal front edge and delimits the groove in the proximal direction, is formed in the metal body on the side of the inner channel. A metal sleeve includes a metal body which surrounds an inner channel running between a proximal and a distal opening. The inner channel has at least one groove set back into the metal body, running in the longitudinal direction of the inner channel and stepped on both sides by a distal and a proximal front edge. The proximal front edge of the groove is produced by impact extrusion. A method for producing a gearbox is provided.
Helical pier with thickened hexagonal coupling ends and method of manufacture
A helical pier and extension shaft, one end of which is formed with a thickened hexagonally shaped female end coupler using a hot forging process that swedges and compresses the walls of the female coupler into a thickened hexagonal configuration, with subsequent heat treatment to recover and enhance yield and tensile strength to the entire main body section and female end coupler of the helical pier and extension shafts. A corresponding hexagonally shaped male coupler may be milled and inertia friction welded to the opposite end of each extension shaft, or alternatively hot forged and internally upset as an integral homogeneous part of each extension shaft, thereby completing construction of the extension shaft with opposing corresponding male and female hexagonal couplers. The forgoing helical pier has particular benefits in applications requiring deep soil penetration and/or when using a grouted helical pier system.
