The seat further includes a support structure adapted to support the head of a user, and an interface made of overmolded plastic and interconnecting the intermediate portions of the two pins.
HEADREST FORE-AFT POSITION ADJUSTER
Disclosed is a headrest fore-aft position adjuster including a displaceable body which receives load of an occupant's head and which displaces in a fore-aft direction with respect to a headrest pillar and a lock mechanism which locks and unlocks the displaceable body at a plurality of positions along the fore-aft direction, and the lock mechanism includes an engaging part which displaces in the fore-aft direction integrally with the displaceable body, a plurality of engaged part which is provided along a trajectory of the engaging part and which the engaging part is engaged with in a locked state and the engaging part is configured to engage with the engaged parts from a lateral position.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat is thinned in a seat front to back direction. In the vehicle seat, a center seat has a seat back frame, a headrest which is provided above the seat back frame, a pillar which supports the headrest, and brackets which mount the pillar to the seat back frame. The pillar is arranged between the brackets and the seat back frame, the brackets have a weld bead which holds the pillar and a portion where a welding trace to be mounted to the seat back frame is formed, and the weld bead and the portion where the welding trace is formed are arranged at different positions in a direction which intersects a front to back direction of the center seat.
RACK AND ITS METHOD OF MANUFACTURE, HEADREST COMPRISING SUCH A RACK, AND SEAT COMPRISING SUCH A HEADREST
A rack of molded plastic having a series of notches open in a first direction, each notch having a certain width in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The notches are aligned in a third direction perpendicular to the first and second directions, and each notch is defined by a bottom and by first and second side walls extending in the first direction from the bottom to a mouth of the notch. A rib projects into each notch from the first side wall, and the bottom of the notch has a through-opening arranged in correspondence with the rib.
Electric-powered headrest
Disclosed is an electric-powered headrest comprising: a plate-shaped base which is fixed to the upper portion of a stay rod and has a bent part formed therein, the bent part having opposite ends upwardly bent; a main bracket which has a coupling part formed on the lower end thereof to be coupled to the bent part of the plate-shaped base and pivots back and forth around the coupling part; an operating part arranged in a space part formed in the main bracket; and a lead screw which has one end coupled to the main bracket and the other end coupled to the operating part, and moves back and forth according to an operation of the operating part.
Headrest
A headrest has a pad that is formed integrally with an outer cover by foam molding, and is also provided with: a low-resilience layer that is set in a front part of the pad and has lower resilience than the pad; a support member that is harder than the pad and supports the low-resilience layer from a backside of the low-resilience layer; and a blocking member that is located at a position to cover a contact area of the low-resilience layer and the support member from an outer circumference side while being in contact with at least one of the low-resilience layer and the support member and blocks infiltration of a foamed resin material of the pad into the contact area.
Electric support system for sofa
An electric support system for sofa includes a linear drive device and at least one adjusting assembly, the adjusting assembly includes a side plate, a slider, a first connecting link, and a second connecting link, the slider is slidably configured on the side plate and driven by the linear drive device to slide on the side plate, one end of the first connecting link is pivotally connected to the slider, the other end of the first connecting link is pivotally connected to one end of the second connecting link, the other end of the second connecting link is an end adapted for fixing headrest, and the second connecting link is also pivotally connected to the side plate with a pivot configured between the two ends of the second connecting link. The headrest can be adjusted to any angle or any position without limitations.
Chair assembly
A chair assembly is provided. The chair assembly includes locking members arranged at a joint between a chair chassis and a seat back support and joints between the chair chassis and two armrests correspondingly. An assembly block of the locking member is formed on the chair chassis while an assembly groove of the locking member is formed in both the seat back support and the respective armrests for being fit on the assembly block of the chair chassis correspondingly. Now a tenon disposed on the assembly block is capable of being engaged with a locking hole arranged at the assembly groove. A positioning part elastically abuts against the opposite side walls of the assembly groove. Thereby assembly of the chair chassis with both the seat back support and the armrests is finished easily and quickly. The chair assembly is more comfortable and safe for users sitting thereon.
