Using foam for structural components of a seat assembly
Seat assemblies (200) including structural components (212, 222, 232) made of foam are described. A seat sub-assembly (210, 220, 230) can include a frame (214, 224, 234) and a foam support (212, 222, 232). The foam support (212, 222, 232) can be coupled to the frame (214, 224, 234) for receiving a load on the seat sub-assembly (210, 220, 230), dissipating at least half of the load, and dispersing the load through the frame (214, 224, 234).
Reversible v sleeping seat
An adjustable seat for a vehicle including a first seat section configured to support a lower leg portion of the passenger when the passenger is sitting facing the first direction and a second seat section configured to support an upper leg portion of the passenger when the passenger is sitting facing the first direction and a torso and head portion of the passenger when the passenger is sitting facing the second direction. The adjustable seat also comprising a third seat section configured to support the torso and head portion of the passenger when the passenger is sitting facing the first direction and the upper leg portion of the passenger when the passenger is sitting facing the second direction. The adjustable seat also comprising a fourth seat section configured to support the lower leg portion of the passenger when the passenger is sitting facing the second direction.
TILTING/LIFTING CHAIR
According to an aspect of some embodiments of the present disclosure there is provided a chair including a base component, a seat component connected to the base component by a central hinge, and a back-rest component connected to the seat component by a back hinge, wherein when the chair is in a sitting position, the seat component is lower than the central hinge. Related apparatus and methods are also described.
Meditation seat system
The present invention relates to seat systems, and more specifically to seat systems suitable for supporting users sitting in a cross-legged or kneeling position during activities such as meditation. Sitting closer to the ground, cross-legged, and/or kneeling enables the brain to easily enter a parasympathetic mode, providing users of the seat system a greater sense of calmness. The Multi-Angle Knee blocks (MAKs) offer a greater level of hip support for users.
FLOAT WITH RETRACTABLE FOOT REST
The present invention proposes a float with a retractable foot rest, comprising a lying float body, a supporting element, a protecting assembly and a foot rest cushion. The supporting element and the protecting assembly are installed in a lying float splicing body; the foot rest cushion that can be retracted or expanded is installed at the lower end of the supporting element; and the foot rest cushion is connected with the supporting element. When the float is worn, the foot rest cushion can be expanded to replace an additional bath towel that needs to be placed on the ground to prevent dirt. After wearing, the foot rest cushion can be retracted below the supporting element, or as required, the floating body is spliced on the lying float body, and the foot rest cushion is connected with the floating body.
Seat Pivot Bracket and Beam Seating System
A seat connection mechanism having a bracket portion which is metal and includes a pivot area, an opening and a channel. A metal pin portion includes a pin and a stop portion, the pin rests in the pivot area such that the shelf portion inhibits movement of the pin portion along the pin's rotation axis, the pin configured to rotate within the pivot area about a rotation axis. The channel in the bracket portion arranged to pass adjacent and through an area of the center pivot, the channel arranged such that the stop portion of the pin portion are insertable into the channel through the opening at an insertion angle to allow the pin to rest in the pivot area and such that when the pin rotates within the center pivot, the stop portion of the pin portion moves within the bracket and the stop portion is configured to interact with the bracket at one or more predefined positions to stop rotation of the pin portion.

Tilt mechanism for lounge chair
The device of the present invention allows a user to adjust the back of a chair to a desired reclining angle without having to physically stand up and manually adjust the back of the chair. More specifically, the tilting mechanism provides a remote control for the user to adjust the back of the chair through the touch of a button and moves the chair back from a first position to a second position as well as through a number of angles of inclination.
Seating assembly for a vehicle
A seating assembly comprises a calf rest coupled to a seat base and having a body that comprises a first trough that extends from a first exterior peak to an interior peak and a second trough that extends from a second exterior peak to the interior peak. The seating assembly also comprises a wire that extends across the first trough from the first exterior peak to the interior peak, the wire being operable between an at rest condition and a contracted condition, wherein movement of the wire from the at rest condition to the contracted condition moves a portion of the wire between the first exterior peak and the interior peak away from a bottom of the first trough. The seating assembly further comprises a controller that prompts electrical current to be supplied to the wire to move the wire from the at rest condition to the contracted condition.
