MOVABLE HUMAN SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A movable human support structure has a support against which at least a part of a human can be borne in use, a base, and a first motion transmitting assembly acting between the support and the base. The first motion transmitting assembly has at least one link member connecting between the base and the support. The at least one link member is configured to be movable: a) relative to the support around a first axis; and b) relative to the base around a second axis. The first and second axes are non-parallel to each other. The first motion transmitting assembly is configured to guide movement of the support relative to the base in opposite directions in a non-straight path.
Arm support apparatus
In an arm support apparatus, an weight attachment is provided for at least one specified link in links of a support member supporting a mount to be movable based on rotation of at least one of the links around a corresponding at least one of the joints. The at least one specified link is associated with at least one specified degree of freedom. The weight attachment is configured such that one or more weight members are attachable thereto. When the one or more weight members are attached to the weight attachment, the weight attachment is configured to substantially balance in weight with the mount on which the part of the arm is mounted while applying supporting force to the part of the arm mounted on the mount.

Screwless chair
Present invention teaches a screwless chair where the unassembled product can come in a flat package, reducing the size of storage and adding to the ease of transportation. No screws are needed for the chair of present invention; no tools are needed for the assembly/disassembly when a user unfolds the seat back from the seat base, slides the hook pieces along the groove pieces and set the seat back down by setting the insertion pegs to the corresponding insertion holes. Errors in setting up the chair can be avoided. The ease of setting up, and thus the sturdiness and the safety of the chair, is not affected by repeated disassembly/re-assembly.
PEDICURE SPA
A pedicure spa may include a basin and a lift mechanism that vertically moves the basin between a raised position in a lowered position while maintaining the basin in a single orientation. The pedicure spa may additionally include a chair, wherein the lift mechanism vertically moves the basin and the chair while maintaining the basin and the chair in a single orientation. The pedicure spa may linearly translate the chair relative to the basin while the basin and the chair are in a raised position. The pedicure spa may sense an obstruction below the basin and automatically interrupt lowering of the basin.
THERMOPLASTIC CHAIR FLEXOR
A seating structure employing a thermoplastic flexor defining the flexibility and stiffness of a seatback is provided. The seating structure may comprise a seat portion for supporting a user, a seatback portion for supporting a user, a frame for supporting the seat portion and the seatback portion, one or more base portions extending at an angle from the seatback portion, and one or more thermoplastic flexors affixed to or within the seatback and base portions of the seating structure. The thermoplastic flexor has certain material characteristics which define and limit the deflection and a rebound of the seatback portion relative to the base portion when under load. The seating structure may further comprise one or more anchors securing the seatback portion, base portion, and thermoplastic flexor to the frame. The seat portion, seatback portion, and base portion may comprise a unibody or multipiece chair shell, and the thermoplastic flexor may be completely enveloped within the shell, or partially disposed behind the shell in a nested mechanical relationship.

CHAIR WITH GRAVITY FEED BEVERAGE CAN DISPENSER
A chair includes a seat base, a back rest, left and right chair arm structures on opposite sides of the seat base, and a dispenser housing fitted within one of the chair arm structures. A cooler is removably received within an interior chamber of the dispenser housing and is structured to be filled with ice or frozen gel packs. A downwardly angled rack within the interior chamber provides a path that is directed at least partially around the cooler. The rack holds an arrangement of adjacently positioned beverage cans that are able to roll along the path by gravity assist while also being chilled by the cooler. A sliding drawer below the interior chamber includes a pocket for receiving a lowermost beverage can from the rack. The drawer pulls out from the front of the chair to dispense a single beverage can while the remaining cans advance one position.
Disposable arm rest cover
A disposable armrest cover, having a top wall section with a top wall with a forward edge, an aft edge, and first and second lateral edges. The top wall further has perforations disposed at a first predetermined distance from the forward edge without reaching the aft edge. A first sidewall section has a first sidewall having a first sidewall forward edge, a first sidewall aft edge, and a first sidewall bottom edge. A second sidewall section has a second sidewall having a second sidewall forward edge, a second sidewall aft edge, and a second sidewall bottom edge. A forward wall section has a forward wall having a bottom edge. A strap assembly secures onto a chair having at least one armrest. In a preferred embodiment, the perforations form an “X” configuration.
Pivot fitting and piece of furniture
A pivot fitting for moveable furniture parts on pieces of furniture has a first lever and a second lever mounted so as to pivot relative to each other about a common pivot axis from a basic position through a predetermined angle in an adjusting direction and a resetting direction, a latching mechanism, with which the two levers can be latched at different angular positions within the predetermined angle relative to each other counter to a force acting in the resetting direction, the levers being pivotable in the resetting direction when the latching mechanism is deactivated. A force-transmission shaft of the adjusting mechanism is coupled to the second level in a rotationally fixed manner. The latching mechanism can be deactivated by pivoting the second lever relative to the first lever in the adjusting direction when an end position has been reached. A damping structural unit is arranged on the first lever to damp the pivot movement of the second lever relative to the first lever in the adjusting direction from a predetermined adjusting angle.
