A yoga stool also may have a base portion, and a seat portion on top of the base portion, wherein the seat portion has an internal firm support member such as a solid slat, and preferably softer material such as foam rubber surrounding the support member, at least on the left and right sides. The yoga stool may include opposed side elements joined by a rear element and front element with a removable top element that may be U-Shaped to allow for additional poses or exercises.
POSTURE SEAT
Systems, devices and methods including a foundation member comprising: a front Portion configured to receive a user's upper legs, where the front portion comprises a first protrusion and a second protrusion; a pommel configured to guide the user to a proper location on the foundation member, where the pommel is proximate the front portion and between the first protrusion and the second protrusion; and a rear portion configured to receive a user's lower pelvic area, the rear portion comprising a central portion and an upwardly inclined lateral portion, where the lateral portion and the front portion collectively surround the central portion.
Adjustable bench
An adjustable bench comprises a seat, a skirt extending from the seat, and a plurality of height adjustable leg assemblies coupled to the skirt. The seat is shaped to be selectively mated with the skirt to provide the bench with either a flat top or a sloped top surface.
Telescopic single-legged portable working chair
The present invention relates to a single-legged portable working chair using a compression repulsive force of a spring body, wherein: when used, the telescopic single-legged portable working chair is worn on a user's body such that, when the user sits down, the spring body is compressed by the weight of the user's body to store power, and when the user stands up, the spring body pushes up the user's body using the compressed power, so that the power consumption required for the sitting and standing actions of the body can be reduced; when the user repeatedly lifts a weight, the load applied to the user's joints and muscles is alleviated by the magnitude of a repulsive force of the spring body.
CHAIR WITH A SELF-ADJUSTING JOINT
The invention relates to a self-adjusting joint (11) which is designed to receive an end of a chair leg of an active dynamic chair, comprising a hollow inner cylinder (12) that comprises an upper and lower end-face edge (12o, 12u) and a hollow outer cylinder (13) that is arranged around the exterior of the inner cylinder (12) and has an upper and lower end-face edge (130, 13u), each of which is offset relative to the upper and lower end-face edge (12o, 12u) of the inner cylinder (12) in the axial direction (A), and a first compression spring section (11a) that consists of a plurality of cylinder bodies or cylinders (15a) which surround the inner cylinder (12) and between which a respective elastomer section (14a) is arranged so as to connect the cylinder bodies or cylinders, and a second compression spring section (11b) that is arranged at a distance from the first compression spring section in the axial direction (A) and consists of a plurality of cylinder bodies (15b) or cylinders which surround the inner cylinder (12) and between which a respective elastomer section (14b) is arranged so as to connect the cylinder bodies or cylinders.
STACKABLE ACTIVE SEAT
An active seat includes a seat disposed at a first end of a body; a convex surface disposed at a second end of the body; and a stacking notch defined at an intermediate location along the body. The convex surface defines at least a first rocking path about which the active seat tilts. The stacking notch defines a flat surface recessed laterally inwardly from an outer periphery of the body taken at the first and second ends.
ACTIVE SEAT WITH STORAGE
An active stool includes a base and a cover. The base defines an interior cavity accessible through an open end of the base. The cover removably mounts to the base to cover the open end. The cover defines a seat for a user. The base is configured to tilt along at least one rocking path. Certain types of bases are configured to tilt along multiple rocking paths.
Methods and apparatus for variable user position seating
A system for seated support. A seat rest may be configured to support the posterior of a user, a leg rest may be configured to support a leg portion of a user, and a combined translate-and-cant reposition carriage may be configured to simultaneously translate and cant the position of the leg rest in relation to the position of the seat rest. The seat rest, leg rest, and combined translate-and-cant reposition carriage may comprise an equipoise balancer for a user. The equipoise balancer may be free-floating, lockable, partially lockable, seat-rest driven, or leg rest driven in various embodiments.
Chair and cover member of the chair
A chair according to the present invention includes: a leg 1; a leg support pole 13; a support base 4; a movement mechanism 5 located below a seat 2, the movement mechanism 5 provided with plural movement parts 5A, 5B configured to allow the seat 2 to move in a certain area along a predetermined trajectory in a front-rear and left-right directions between the support base 4 and the seat 2, the movement mechanism 5 being a support mechanism configured to support the seat 2 so that the seat 2 moves in the front-rear direction and left-right directions; and plural cover members 71, 72 arranged corresponding to the plural movement parts 5A, 5B. The plural cover members 71, 72 are configured to move relatively in accordance with movement of the plural movement parts 5A, 5B and cover the support mechanism 5.
