Furniture system with recliner assembly
A furniture system with reclining assembly is comprised of: (a) a modular furniture assembly and a reclining assembly. The recliner base of the recliner assembly remains within substantially the same footprint specifications as the modular furniture assembly in the non-reclined position. A passageway in the reclining assembly allows coupling to a slit in the modular furniture assembly. A recliner base mounted on a support surface comprises a housing and a footrest assembly that moves with respect to the housing. The footrest assembly selectively extends outwardly in a manner that the reclining mechanism is generally not visible from the sides or from the front of the footrest assembly.
OUTDOOR SEATING FURNITURE
Outdoor seating furniture is provided, which includes at least one seat element arranged on a frame with a seat surface and a reverse side, wherein, in a basic state, the seat surface is oriented downwards and, in a functional state, the seat surface is oriented upwards. The seat element as part of a pivot bearing is pivotably mounted about the longitudinal axis of a transverse strut of the frame and is stabilized by force of gravity, force of spring, magnetic force and/or an electromechanical actuator in the basic state.
LOAD SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A body support structure includes a frame and a membrane attached to the frame. The membrane includes elastomeric filaments. The membrane includes different regions with different stiffness. The membrane may form a part of a seat or a backrest.
EXPANDABLE SEATING FURNITURE
An expandable seating furniture comprising a center section for providing a first seating position, the center section providing center chair legs and at least one lateral section, concealable into the center section, each of the at least one lateral section being laterally expandable for providing one or more additional seating positions. The center section conceals one or more lateral chair legs, and may also conceal back support and/or armrest, for each of the at least one lateral section when the expandable seating furniture is unexpanded. The lateral section(s) may be concealable into the center section as interleaved sliding sections (e.g., along a seating plane and/or vertically).
OUTDOOR FURNITURE AND COMPONENTS THEREOF
Individual items of furniture and components thereof are described herein. The furniture can be used as individual pieces or connected to form a furniture system. A seat module is attached to three or four legs to form a chair; optionally the legs are part of a leg module. Two or more seat modules can be connected using a connection system to form a sectional, such as a multi-seat sofa. Each seat module is connected to one or more legs via the same or a different connection system. Each furniture system or item of furniture contains at least one seat module. The seat portion of each seat module typically contains one or more slots configured to facilitate drainage. A seat cushion can be placed on the top surface of the seat portion and is held in place via a plug that inserts into a top opening in the seat portion.
MODULAR ASSEMBLY FOR HIGH LEG ROW SEATING
A modular base system is provided that allows easy installation and maintenance in a row of motion seating units. Arms are easily removable from a base assembly. The base assembly also provides structure allowing easy installation and removal of the motion mechanism. The base assembly also allows easy installation and removal of a back panel. The motion mechanism includes a pivotal seat frame attachment allowing the seat to be pivoted upwardly, from the front of the mechanism.
DOUBLE BUTTERFLY CHAIR
A double butterfly chair comprises a seat cover and a chair frame, wherein the chair frame includes a front support, a rear support, and a side support that connects the front and rear supports. The seat cover is suspended on the upper edges of the front and rear supports. Specifically, the front and rear supports each have two sets of intersecting hinged rods, and a middle support is connected between the hinged rod ends of the two sets of rods in the front and rear supports. The middle support and the side support together connect the front and rear supports, and ingeniously divide the chair into two seating areas.
Load support structure
A body support structure includes a frame and a membrane attached to the frame. The membrane includes elastomeric filaments. The membrane has a first region with a first stiffness and a second region with a second stiffness. The second stiffness is greater than the first stiffness. The membrane may form a part of a seat or a backrest.
Beam mounted chair assembly
Beam mounted chair assemblies may include at least two standards supported on a floor, a beam secured to, and supported by, the standards, and a plurality of chair assemblies secured to, and supported by, the beam. Chair assemblies may be secured to a beam via associated chair brackets. Chair brackets may include chair seat pivots that pivotally secure a chair seat in proximity to a chair back such that the chair seat may pivot between an up and a down position. Chair brackets and standards may be secured to a beam such that the chair brackets and standards may be linearly positioned along a full length of the beam without interfering with one another. The beam mounted chair assemblies may include electrical power and/or data wiring and associated components.
Armrest and armrest pad
An armrest comprises a top surface; a first side surface and a second side surface being opposite to said first side surface; wherein said top surface incorporates a number of discrete regions; a first discrete region on which, in use, the elbow of a first user rests; said first discrete region extending diagonally towards said first side surface; and at least one further discrete region located in front of said first discrete region which extends diagonally towards said second side surface; whereby said second discrete region provides, in use, a resting surface for the elbow of a second user seating in an adjacent seat; wherein said first and said second regions are separated in the longitudinal direction by a line of separation which doesn't protrude higher than the majority of the top surface.
