METAL MOLD FOR CENTRIFUGAL CASTING
A metal mold for centrifugal casting, the exterior surface of which is provided with a coating in the form of an iron oxide film or a film containing calcium as the main ingredient. Such a coating is preferably formed so as to substantially cover the entire exterior surface. If the coating is an iron oxide film, it is preferable for the film to contain triiron tetraoxide. If the coating is a film containing calcium as the main ingredient, it is preferable for the thickness thereof to be at most 0.4 mm. Furthermore, among films containing calcium as the main ingredient, it is preferable for said main ingredient to be calcium carbonate. By configuring a mold for centrifugal casting in such a manner, the exterior surface of the metal mold can be uniformly cooled, and deformation of the mold can be suppressed.
Mould powder and mould coating
The present invention relates to a mould powder for coating cast moulds for reducing surface defects, such as pinholes, in ductile cast iron products. The mould powder comprises 10-99.5% by weight of a ferrosilicon alloy, 0.5-50% by weight of iron sulphide, and optionally 1-30% by weight of CaSi, and/or 1-10% by weight of CaF.sub.2. The invention further relates to a mould coating on and internal surface of a casting mould comprising 10-99.5% by weight of a ferrosilicon alloy, 0.5-50% by weight of iron sulphide, and optionally 1-30% by weight of CaSi, and/or 1-10% by weight of CaF.sub.2.
WATER-COOLED CENTRIFUGAL PIPE CASTING MACHINE
A water-cooled centrifugal pipe casting machine includes a sector ladle tilting system, a pouring runner, a pipe mold and a pipe removing device. The pipe mold is provided to a travel system, and rotation of the pipe mold is controlled by a pipe mold rotating system. By using a servo motor driving the sector ladle tilting system, by using a parallel four-bar linkage structure tilting a sector ladle, and by using a variable frequency motor controlling the movements of a rack and a gear of a travel driving system, a constant amount of hot metal flowing out of the sector ladle per unit time can be ensured and a constant traveling speed of the centrifugal pipe casting machine are achieved. As such, uniformity of the wall thickness of the casting pipes can be ensured, the quality thereof can be improved, and materials required can be saved.
Centrifugal casting mold and centrifugal casting mold assembly device
A mold used for centrifugal casting includes a mold body formed in a cylindrical shape and a lid member (40) that is detachably assembled to an end part of the mold body in an axial direction. The lid member includes a lid body (41) that is attached to an opening part formed at the end part of the mold body, a protrusion part (450) that is fitted to the mold body, and a spring that applies elastic force to the lid body in a direction in which the lid body closely contacts the mold body.

Cluster for and method of casting golf club heads
Disclosed herein is a casting cluster for casting a body of a golf club head made of titanium or a titanium alloy. The casting cluster comprises a receptor and a plurality of runners coupled to the receptor and configured to receive molten metal from the receptor. The casting cluster also includes at least twenty-eight main gates. At least two of the main gates are coupled to each of the runners and each main gate is configured to receive molten metal from a corresponding one of the plurality of runners. The casting cluster further comprises at least twenty-eight molds. Each mold of the at least twenty-eight molds is configured to receive molten metal from a corresponding one of the main gates and to cast a body of a golf club head that has a volume of at least 100 cm.sup.3.
Multiple pressure casting mold and molded product manufacturing method using same
A multiple pressure casting mold includes a mold part having upper and lower molds, each having molten metal injection ports and the molded product accommodating parts for accommodating the molten metal for the molded product, a rotating unit for rotating the mold part so as to allow the molten metal injected through the molten metal injection ports to flow into the molded product accommodating parts, and a molten metal injection control unit having upper and lower pressing parts for pressing the molten metal injected through the molten metal injection ports so as to allow the molten metal to flow into the molded product accommodating parts with the rotating unit.
Use of a coating composition and corresponding method for producing a centrifugal casting mould with a coating
A description is given of the use of a refractory coating composition having a solids fraction of more than 69 wt %, based on the total mass of the coating composition, and also having a loss on ignition of less than 0.6 wt %, based on the total mass of the solids fraction of the coating composition, for producing a refractory coating on the inner walls of a centrifugal casting mold by means of a spray application. Further described is a method for producing a centrifugal casting mold provided on its inner walls with a refractory coating, for use in the centrifugal casting process, and also a method for producing a casting in the centrifugal casting process, preferably having a structured surface. Also described is a centrifugal casting mold for use in the centrifugal casting process, having a refractory coating on the inner walls of the centrifugal casting mold.

APPARATUS TO CAST TUBES OF SLUGGISH MATERIAL AND A PROCESS THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus to cast tubes of sluggish material and a process thereof. The apparatus comprises at least one cylindrical casting mold, heating means, at least one set of rollers, a driving member, at least one tank, a spray nozzle, at least one tundish, a reinforced snout, cooling means and a drive control unit. The mold is configured to receive the molten sluggish material therein. The rollers are configured to abut an operative outer surface of the casting mold. The driving member is configured to spin the casting mold in an operative configuration of the apparatus to cast the tube of a predetermined inner diameter (ID), outer diameter (OD) and a predetermined length. Since, the addition of fluidity enhancer increases the fluidity of the molten sluggish material inside the mold, advantageously the smaller diameter of the tubes are easily produced by this process.
