The low-pressure casting device is configured to correct filling of the molten metal in the casting mold in a next casting based on the height of the molten metal surface detected by the molten-metal level sensor.

When sliding the horizontal sliding molds from the mold-opening position to the mold-closing position, the sliding mechanisms 12, 25 cause force to act on a lower section of the horizontal sliding molds 5 to 8 and prevent force from acting on an upper section of the horizontal sliding molds 5 to 8.
