A meditation system comprising a meditation surface including a contactless bio-sensor and a processor to analyze data from the contactless bio-sensor, to determine meditation results including a user's respiration, heart rate, and meditation quality, the processor further to calculate a recommendation to the user based on the meditation results. The system further comprising a user interface to display the meditation results and the recommendation.

An orientable seating device includes a seat, the orientation of which can be controlled to dynamically affect a desired of yaw, pitch and roll. The seating device can be used to reorient and/or to simulate motion for a seated person for use with video games, virtual reality headsets or goggles, land, water, air or space vehicle simulation, or wireless airborne drones, for example. The device includes a seat mounted on a carriage, which is received in a carriage pedestal. Within the pedestal, a drive wheel positioned under the carriage supports and rotates the carriage by driving an outer sphere-shaped surface of the carriage. The drive wheel can be reoriented around a vertical axis such that any combination of pitch and roll can be achieved by rotating the wheel against the sphere-shaped surface. Yaw can be controlled by a rotatable platform upon which the carriage pedestal can be mounted.

A locker includes a pair of spaced-apart upstanding sidewalls and at least one compartment defined between the upstanding sidewalls. A horizontal member extends at least partially between the sidewalls. An inductive charger is carried by the horizontal member and located such that an electronic device placed on the horizontal member may be charged by the charger. The apparatus can be reconfigured to optimally position and support the arms and/or chest of the user. A method for using a stool can involve rotating armrests of the apparatus from a stowed position to a deployed position. The armrests can support the user's forearms while supporting the user's chest such that the user can comfortably perform tasks in front of a chest support of the stool.

Improved seats and methods of sitting are provided for meditation and other activities that urge a user to settle naturally into a proper alignment of their spine so that they can develop a natural sense of balance and related muscle memory that enables them to continue the posture when not using the seat of the present invention. Seats of the present invention include a supported portion that includes a sitting surface and a leg portion having a proximal end that may be connected to the supported portion. The leg portion further includes a distal end that acts as a pivot on a floor or other surface suitable for supporting the seat and user, thereby allowing the user to balance themselves around the pivot.

An improved locker seat includes a pair of spaced-apart upstanding sidewalls having a pair of front edges. A generally horizontal seat extends between and at least partially forward of the front edges of the sidewalls. A lower seatback is connected at a lower extent by a hinge between the sidewalls and extending above the seat, the lower seatback is movable about the hinge between an open position and a closed position. An upper seatback is connected at an upper extent by a hinge between the sidewalls and above the lower seatback, the upper seatback being movable about the hinge between an open and a closed position.

The disclosure depicts a system and method for supporting a pair of seats. The system includes a center post, first and second arms engaging the center post at the initial end of each, and engaging a respective support pillar adjacent a terminal end of each. A respective seat is mounted atop each respective support pillar.

The nozzles are configured to spray water from the water tank. The set of motorized wheels and the directional wheel are configured to move and rotate the chair, respectively. The emergency stop button is configured to stop the chair from moving.

A bench that serves as a barrier from ballistics and explosions is disclosed. The bench serves the traditional role of providing a seating area while also providing protection from ballistics and explosions originating from an opposite side of the barrier bench. The bench may comprise one or more panels or plates and an upper wall that are adapted to repel ballistics and blasts. The barrier bench further comprises a series of interconnected members that together form a frame which serves to position the one or more panels and upper wall in a relatively upright position so as to form a barrier against ballistics and explosion blasts.

A foldable chair, including a first bracket and a second bracket that are hingedly fixed in an X-shape, and an adjusting mechanism connecting an upper portion of the first bracket and a lower portion of the second bracket. The adjusting mechanism includes a fixing member and a movable member, the fixing member including a slide groove, and the movable member including a limit member movable within the slide groove; the slide groove has a serrated first inner side wall and a smooth second inner side wall, and the limit member is snapable to the first inner side wall.
