A lounge chair designed to rest on the bottom of a body of shallow water, the chair including solid ballast as well as air and water vents to permit rapid filling and emptying of water into a chamber inside the chair.

A bench that serves as a barrier from ballistics and explosions is disclosed. The bench serves the traditional role of providing a seating area while also providing protection from ballistics and explosions originating from an opposite side of the barrier bench. The bench may comprise one or more panels or plates and an upper wall that are adapted to repel ballistics and blasts. The barrier bench further comprises a series of interconnected members that together form a frame which serves to position the one or more panels and upper wall in a relatively upright position so as to form a barrier against ballistics and explosion blasts.

A terminal system comprises a device terminal (2) and an operator seat (3) which can be connected to the device terminal (2), wherein the device terminal (2) and the operator seat (3) have energy and/or signal coupling parts (5) and mechanical positioning coupling parts (6) which can be coupled to each other, wherein each of the energy and/or signal coupling parts and the positioning coupling parts (6) can be engaged with each other by pushing together the operator seat (3) and device terminal (2) parallel to the ground, wherein the positioning coupling parts (6) comprise vertical and horizontal positioning means for vertically and horizontally orienting the operator seat (3) with respect to the device terminal (2) by pushing together in the coupling direction, characterised in that the vertical positioning means (7) and the horizontal positioning means (8) are coupling pieces formed separately from each other, wherein the vertical positioning means (7) has a clearance in the horizontal direction transversely to the coupling and decoupling direction (24) and the horizontal positioning means (8) has a clearance (13) in the vertical direction, wherein the vertical positioning means (7) and/or the horizontal positioning means (8) each have at least two pairs of coupling pieces (9, 10) which can engage with each other, which are spaced from each other transversely with respect to a longitudinal centre plane through the operator seat (3) and/or through the device terminal (2), and wherein tensioning means (14) are provided for tensioning the operator seat (3) and device terminal (2) relative to each other, wherein said tensioning means (14) are associated with the positioning coupling parts (6).

A seat including a frame and a cover and having a seat surface and a backrest. The frame includes two side profiles lying at a mutual distance and delimiting the seat surface, two side profiles lying at a mutual distance and delimiting the backrest, and an upper profile extending between the side profiles. The seat surface and the backrest are defined by a cloth tensioned between the profiles. This cloth has at an end a folded-back part enclosing the upper profile, and a strap folded round the side profiles for the seat surface. A method for forming such a seat, and a frame and a cloth which are both intended for application in such a seat.

An improved locker seat includes a pair of spaced-apart upstanding sidewalls having a pair of front edges. A generally horizontal seat extends between and at least partially forward of the front edges of the sidewalls. A lower seatback is connected at a lower extent by a hinge between the sidewalls and extending above the seat, the lower seatback is movable about the hinge between an open position and a closed position. An upper seatback is connected at an upper extent by a hinge between the sidewalls and above the lower seatback, the upper seatback being movable about the hinge between an open and a closed position.

The landscape engine is functionally coupled to a physics engine configured to physical rules to objects within the virtual reality dataset. A display engine is coupled to the physics engine to convert the dataset into first and second content streams.

A chair assembly including a toilet seat, a chair seat lid and a backrest. The toilet seat, the lid and the backrest are connected relative to one another such that they are positionable in alternative chair and toilet-use modes. The lid is behind the generally upright backrest when the assembly is in the toilet-use mode and is on the toilet seat when the assembly is in the chair mode. The assembly can have self-supporting legs whereby it can form a standalone chair remote from the toilet. When in a male urination mode, the toilet seat is lifted and the backrest is in a lifted, generally horizontal position.

A chair for use with a head-mountable display device, the chair comprising a seat portion comprising one or more connection means to allow connection to the head-mountable display device, a base portion, and a rotatable connection between the seat portion and the base portion configured so as to allow an electrical connection to pass between the seat portion and base portion, wherein the electrical connection is operable to transmit at least one of power and digital data.
