SLIDABLE GAMING CHAIR INCLUDING RETURN-TO-HOME FEATURE
An electronic gaming system is described. The electronic gaming system includes an upper assembly including a chair and at least one sensor. The electronic gaming system also includes a lower assembly coupled to the upper assembly by a support structure wherein the lower assembly includes a centering system and wherein the centering system is configured to return the chair to a predefined home position in response to the at least one sensor of the upper assembly detecting a weight below a predefined threshold.
Meditation Chair
A chair having a chair back with an enlarged and curved seating surface is described. The raised seating surface has a front to back dimension (depth) substantially similar to its left to right dimension (width) approximately 0.80 meters. The seating surface is further curved upwardly on the left and right sides relative to the front to back center of the seating surface. In one variation, the radius of curvature pertaining to the curve is approximately 0.5 meters.
VIDEO GAMING COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A method of using video gaming communication system. A gaming chair is provided that includes a control panel and a speaker operably connected to the control panel. A headphone is provided that includes a speaker and a microphone. The headphone is operably connected to the control panel. The control panel is operably connected to a gaming system. A video game sound is transmitted from the gaming system to the control panel. The video game sound is emitted from the gaming chair speaker and the headphone speaker. An audio input is received from the headphone microphone. In response to receiving the audio input, the emitting of the video game sound from at least one of the gaming chair speaker and the headphone speaker is changed.
CHAIR FOR LANDING AND TAKE-OFF
A chair for use in take-off or landing of a user wearing personal flying equipment may include a seat for the user to straddle such that the user faces in a forward direction. The chair may include a torso support for supporting a torso of the user sitting on the seat. The torso support may be concave and define an opening facing the seat. The seat and torso support may be mounted to a structure. A base member may be rigidly connected to the structure and may extend outwardly from either side of the structure, leaving a space below the structure for receiving a leg of the user when the user sits on the seat.
MEDITATION SEAT SYSTEM
The present invention relates to seat systems, and more specifically to seat systems suitable for supporting users sitting in a cross-legged or kneeling position during activities such as meditation. Sitting closer to the ground, cross-legged, and/or kneeling enables the brain to easily enter a parasympathetic mode, providing users of the seat system a greater sense of calmness. The Multi-Angle Knee blocks (MAKs) offer a greater level of hip support for users.
DETACHABLE SWIVEL SEAT
A detachable seat includes an elongate support bar including a first bracket and a second bracket each positioned adjacent opposing ends of the elongate support bar, a seat support frame including a first support member and a second support member affixed to the first support member, a hinge pivotally connecting the first support member to the elongate support bar, a seat mounted on the second support member, the seat support frame and the seat pivoting around the elongate support bar upon pivotal movement of the first support member, and a retaining arm affixed to and extending from the elongate support bar adjacent the first bracket, the retaining arm including a plurality of alignment apertures formed along a length thereof.
SEAT APPLICATION MANAGEMENT DEVICE, SEAT EXPERIENCING SYSTEM, AND SEAT APPLICATION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
A seat application management device for managing an application for offering an experience using a seat is provided. The seat application management device for managing a usage pattern of a seat provided with a sensor is configured to execute, in response to an operation of a user, an application execution process of providing an interface that allows the user to select at least one application from among a plurality of applications each of which utilizes data acquired from the sensor to offer an experience using the seat to a seated occupant, and executing the selected application, and a record presentation process of retrieving and presenting an execution result of an executed application.
Ergonomic Method for Working in Confined Work Spaces
An ergonomic method for working in confined work spaces is disclosed. The method, in some cases, includes the steps of: a) providing a support structure that is generally in the configuration of a rectangular prism having six faces, a length, width, and a height in which the length, width, and height differ from one another so that the structure provides three different height positions when the support structure is placed on the floor of the workspace; b) placing the support structure with one of its faces in contact with a contoured floor surface in a confined work space; and c) sitting or standing on the support structure.
Ergonomic Chair Made from Paper Substrate with Embedded Sensor, Computer Readable Medium for Interacting with the Chair, Method of Making the Chair or Other Structures from Paper Substrate
There is provided an ergonomic chair which is produced from flat components. The components may be made of paper. The components are designed using parametric equations which take the targeted user's proportions into account. The components are then folded, joined, and coated with strengthening material. The chair has a seat, a base, and three legs connecting the seat to the base. The base contains a counterweight mass for keeping the chair in a default upright position. The base contains an accelerometer which can transmit data to a computing device to track a user's posture and other health-related data.
Joystick Chair
Joystick chair is an input device for interaction between the user and computer. It enables the movement of the user in games. The invention is used by placing feet on the platform (3) and sitting or leaning on the seat (23). Command for turning is achieved by rotating the seat (23), either to the left or to the right. Command for forward movement is issued by pulling the left or right controller (36, 41) with fingers, while the command for backward movement is issued by pushing the left or right controller (36, 41) away by palms. Control handles for lateral movement (49, 56) are separated from the forward-back controls that are located on the controllers (36, 41). Other commands are achieved with buttons on the left and right controller and they are accessible with thumbs. The software allows the modifications of all available actions of the invention.
