The disclosure features physical activity devices that include (a) a central footrest, configured to receive at least a portion of a foot of a user, (b) a plurality of elongated sleeves, each sleeve having an inner and an outer surface, and being configured to at least partially enclose an elongated tubular support member, and having spaced grooves in its outer surface extending generally perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the sleeve, and (c) at least two loops extending from the footrest, the loops being configured to be received by the grooves so that the sleeves support the footrest above a surface on which the tubular support members are positioned. The disclosure also features methods of using such devices.

An assistive device for standing tasks allows for a reduction of effort on the part of a user while engaged in tasks or activities that are stationary or nearly stationary that lessens the strain on the bones, joints, and muscles normally used for standing while ensuring a proper alignment of the pelvis and spine.

The adjustable foot stool comprises a platform, a pad, a plurality of lighting elements, and a pair of adjustable legs. The platform may be adapted to elevate and tilt a foot of a user. An inclination angle of the platform may be changed using the pair of adjustable legs. The pad may cushion the foot 910. This invention relates in general to supports and in particular to collapsible portable travel supports for use in conjunction with a seat during travel. The support device has a main body of flexible material and a self-deploying support structure has a plurality of hollow sections having a slip joint connection and a chord secured to opposing ends of the structure and passing longitudinally through all sections. The self-deploying support structure is transformable between storage and deployed configurations where the slip joint connections of each section are mated to form a unitary structure. An attachment mechanism associated with the body attaches the body to the self-deploying support structure. The main body and self-deploying support structure are configured to form a self-supporting structure spaced apart from the seat in use and from a structure in front of the seat supporting the user.
