An article of furniture can be converted for dual uses as a coffee table and an ottoman, or vice versa, with relative ease using a simple conversion mechanism disposed on the article if furniture and operably connected between a number of convertible members and a base for the article of furniture.

A portable deployable stanchion assists a seated individual. The stanchion includes an elongate arcuate support base shaped and dimensioned to extend from the heel along the rear of the ankle and at least a portion of the calf of an individual. A first telescoping member is pivotally attached to the support base. A second articulating support member is attached to the support base and to the telescoping member. The telescoping member when deployed has a length in the range of twelve to twenty-four inches.
Adjustable foot support stand
The present invention provides an elevated foot support stand comprising a telescopic leg supported on ground by three leg supports and providing a platform fixed to the telescopic leg at top end thereof. The telescopic leg allows for adjusting the height of the platform above the ground. The leg supports are foldable for convenient storage of the foot support stand assembly. Further, the platform can be articulated with respect to the telescopic leg for adjusting angle thereof, and for folding during storage. The foot support stand can be used to support the foot while performing a pedicure, shaving one's legs or applying medication to the foot among other things.

A dual-use footrest is disclosed. The dual-use footrest comprises a bottom frame and a flip frame. The bottom frame includes a shaft part disposed at a side of the two side plates, and a support disposed a side of the shaft part, and the flip frame includes a shaft coupling part disposed at a side of the two side frames and pivotally connected to the shaft part, and a pedal part disposed on a side of the shaft coupling part. When the back surface of the flip frame is abutted on the bottom frame, the user with the sitting posture can step on the pedal part; and, when the flip frame is outwardly flipped about the shaft coupling part and the shaft part, to abut on the support of the bottom frame by the top surface thereof, the user with the standing posture can step on the footrest.

A furniture object includes a load-bearing support assembly, a seating assembly, and a seal assembly. The load-bearing support assembly may support a structural load. The load-bearing support assembly includes a plurality of load-bearing beams. The seating assembly may receive the structural load such that the seating assembly conducts the structural load to the load-bearing support assembly. The seal assembly includes a partition structure configured to define a sealable aperture into an interior of the furniture object. The load-bearing beams, the seating assembly, and the seal assembly collectively define a sealable enclosure within an interior of the furniture object, such that the furniture object may hold a plurality of separate pieces of a separate furniture object within the enclosure, and the partition structure may detach from a remainder structure of the seal assembly to enable removal of the plurality of separate pieces from the enclosure through the opened aperture.

A furniture object includes a load-bearing support assembly, a seating assembly, and a seal assembly. The load-bearing support assembly may support a structural load.
