The cleaning system includes at least one door, an elongated member operably connected to the at least one door, and at least one actuator connected to the elongated member. The elongated member is rotatable by the at least one actuator to slide the at least one door between a first position for covering the at least one cutout and a second position for at least partially uncovering the at least one cutout and allowing an unwanted material to pass through the at least one cutout.

DETECTION OF CORN HEAD ROW UNIT SLIP CLUTCH DISENGAGEMENT USING PERCEPTION SYSTEM

A perception system coupled to a harvesting head that includes row units, and slip clutches configured to couple the row units to a drive shaft and automatically disengage a jammed row unit. The perception system includes vision sensors collecting image data in front of the head, and a processor that processes the image data, and notifies the operator when it detects excessive crop buildup in front of one of the row units based on the image data. The perception processor can activate a notification device, and it can indicate which row unit has the detected crop buildup. The vision sensors can be positioned to have separate or overlapping fields of view covering the row units. A method of collecting image data in front of the row units, processing the image data to detect excessive crop buildup, and notifying the operator of detected buildups.

Grain quality control system and method

A grain tailings elevator for a combine harvester includes a an elevator housing having an interior containing a conveyor arrangement configured to transport grain tailings through the elevator housing to a discharge outlet. The elevator housing has a side wall with a window to the interior of the elevator housing. A camera having a camera housing containing an image sensor is mounted to the side wall of the elevator housing over the window with the image sensor in registration with the window. The image sensor is trained on the conveyor arrangement and configured to image the grain tailings transported by the conveyor arrangement through the elevator housing.

Infeed deck cleanout door for a header

A clean out system of a header for an agricultural vehicle. The header includes a frame with a floor having at least one cutout for allowing an unwanted material to pass therethrough. The clean out system includes at least one door configured for pivotally connecting to the floor and selectively engaging with the at least one cutout, a latching mechanism connected to the at least one door and configured for securing the at least one door to the frame, and at least one actuating member operably connected to the at least one door and configured for selectively latching the latching mechanism and pivoting the at least one door in between an open position and a closed position.

SELF PROPELLED MOWER WITH SAFETY DEVICE

An autonomous self-propelled mowing vehicle includes a frame fitted with a drive mechanism, a mowing device for mowing plants, a bumper device, and a control unit. The bumper device includes a first and a second impact detector. The first impact detector is depressible up to a stop and is provided with a first switch which emits a first signal to the control unit at a first switching point, if the first impact detector is depressed beyond the switching point. The second impact detector is deformable and locally depressible, and is provided with a second switch which emits a second signal to the control unit if the second impact detector is depressed at least beyond a predetermined depression threshold. The control unit is configured to stop the drive mechanism upon receiving the second signal, and to regulate the drive mechanism in such a way that the speed of the mowing vehicle is reduced to a lower mowing speed upon receiving the first signal without receiving the second signal. This prevents plants to be mowed from pushing the bumper away across the bumper width beyond the switching point of the first impact detector, without losing its long depressibility, because the second impact detector, which itself has a much smaller depressibility, detects obstacles at the lower (mowing) speed by being depressed itself.

Auxiliary wheel for lawn mower

The present invention relates to an auxiliary wheel for a lawn mower which includes an installation unit coupled to a main body of a lawn mower, a swing unit coupled to the installation unit to be swingable in one direction or the other direction, a wheel unit connected to the swing unit to be swingable with the swing unit, and a fixing unit installed on an outer portion of the installation unit and configured to fix the swing unit to be swingable in the other direction. When the wheel unit swings in the one direction, the main body is pressed against the ground, and when the wheel unit swings in the other direction, the main body is spaced apart from the ground.

GOLF COURSE IMPLEMENT LIFT SYSTEM
20220295708 · 2022-09-22 ·

A golf course implement lift system includes a global positioning system for mapping a plurality of obstacles on a golf course, and an electro-hydraulic three point hitch with a towed implement attached thereto. The electro-hydraulic three point hitch is raised when the global positioning system detects the towed implement is approaching one of the plurality of obstacles.

Harvester stability monitoring and control

A controller for a harvester receives a speed of the harvester, the pitch, the yaw and the roll of the vehicle body, compares the sensed yaw, pitch and roll of the vehicle body to respective acceptable yaw, pitch and roll ranges. The controller also receives a conveyor position respect to the vehicle body, compares the conveyor position to an acceptable range of conveyor positions, calculates a center of gravity of the harvester based upon the yaw, pitch, roll and conveyor position, and compares the speed of the harvester to an acceptable range of speeds based upon the calculated center of gravity of the harvester. The controller also sends a signal to move the conveyor with respect to the vehicle body, alert the user to move the conveyor with respect to the vehicle body, reduce the speed of the harvester, or alert the user to reduce the speed of the harvester.
