Casting tree and method of assembly
A field of lost pattern casting, and more particularly to a casting tree for lost pattern casting, and also to its method of assembly is provided. The casting tree includes at least one part support, at least one pattern, and at least one first male-female connection connecting the pattern to the part support. The first male-female connection includes an orifice, a peg at least partially inserted inside the orifice, and a film of meltable material interposed at least between an outside surface of the peg and an inside surface of the orifice.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR INDEXING MOULDS
A method of indexing moulds uses a flaskless moulding machine for forming moulds and a mould conveyor for carrying, and advancing a mould string produced from a plurality of the moulds received by the mould conveyor from the flaskless moulding machine. The method comprises: (i) forming one or more moulds one at a time using the flaskless moulding machine, each of the one or more moulds being added to the mould string while the mould string is stationary by being brought Into contact with the mould string, subsequently to being produced by the flaskless moulding machine. Once the one or more moulds has been produced and added to the mould string, the method continues in step (ii) by advancing the mould siring, in a single motion, away from the flaskless moulding machine a distance corresponding to the sum of the thicknesses of the one or more moulds using the mould conveyor, wherein the flaskless moulding machine assists the mould conveyor in advancing the mould string during a first part of the distance, and wherein the mould conveyor advances the mould string a second part of the distance, corresponding to the remainder of the distance, without assistance from the flaskless moulding machine. The single motion is continuous. A system for indexing moulds is also provided.

METHOD FOR MANAGING CASTING PROCESS BASED ON PROPERTIES OF MOLDING SAND
A method for managing a casting process based on measured properties of molding sand is provided so that casting defects or energy used can be reduced by changing the molding conditions for the mold to be produced or changing the steps after molding. The method for managing a casting process based on the properties of the molding sand comprises a step (1) of measuring the properties of the molding sand just before the molding sand is supplied to a molding machine (40) and a step (2) of determining if the measured properties of the molding sand comply with predetermined properties, wherein, if by the step of determining it is found that the measured properties do not comply with the predetermined properties, a mold is molded to have less strength than that of a mold that is molded by using molding sand whose properties do comply with the predetermined properties.
METHOD FOR MANAGING CASTING PROCESS BASED ON PROPERTIES OF MOLDING SAND
A method for managing a casting process based on measured properties of molding sand is provided so that casting defects or energy used can be reduced by changing the molding conditions for the mold to be produced or changing the steps after molding. The method for managing a casting process based on the properties of the molding sand comprises a step (1) of measuring the properties of the molding sand just before the molding sand is supplied to a molding machine (40) and a step (2) of determining if the measured properties of the molding sand comply with predetermined properties, wherein, if by the step of determining it is found that the measured properties do not comply with the predetermined properties, a mold is molded to have less strength than that of a mold that is molded by using molding sand whose properties do comply with the predetermined properties.
DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A data management system that controls data related on a casting on a casting process, that is connected to a casting equipment, the casting equipment including: a casting apparatus configured to form the casting by using upper and lower molds into which molten metal is poured by using gravity, the upper and lower molds being able to be opened, closed, and tilted; and an engraving apparatus configured to engrave a product identifier on the casting, the data management system including: a storage device configured to store the data; an acquisition unit configured to acquire the product identifier and a tilting pattern of each of the upper and lower molds in the casting apparatus; and a control unit configured to associate the product identifier with the tilting pattern acquired by the acquisition unit, and to cause the storage device to store the associated product identifier and tilting pattern.
Casting equipment and casting method
There is provided casting equipment including a control device that acquires, regarding multiple processes in the casting equipment, specific data regarding casting molds in each frame, and that associates the specific data for the respective processes with the casting molds, separately for the casting molds in each frame; and a display device provided, with respect to a first process among the multiple processes and a second process later than the first process, on equipment for executing the second process. The control device displays, on the display device, the specific data for the first process associated with the casting molds that are to be processed in the second process.
Casting equipment and casting method
There is provided casting equipment including a control device that acquires, regarding multiple processes in the casting equipment, specific data regarding casting molds in each frame, and that associates the specific data for the respective processes with the casting molds, separately for the casting molds in each frame; and a display device provided, with respect to a first process among the multiple processes and a second process later than the first process, on equipment for executing the second process. The control device displays, on the display device, the specific data for the first process associated with the casting molds that are to be processed in the second process.
