A device comprising: a bed frame comprising a platform frame and a headboard frame, wherein the platform frame is T-shaped as defined via a leg portion and a platform portion, wherein the platform portion comprises a spine portion extending longitudinally over the leg portion, wherein the headboard frame defines a U-shaped channel, wherein the spine portion extends through the U-shaped channel and the headboard frame is non-perpendicularly oriented to the platform portion when the headboard frame spans between a wall and a floor, the platform portion is secured to the wall cantileveredly, and the headboard frame is secured to the wall distal to the floor.

A device comprising: a bed frame comprising a platform frame and a headboard frame, wherein the platform frame is T-shaped as defined via a leg portion and a platform portion, wherein the platform portion comprises a spine portion extending longitudinally over the leg portion, wherein the headboard frame defines a U-shaped channel, wherein the spine portion extends through the U-shaped channel and the headboard frame is non-perpendicularly oriented to the platform portion when the headboard frame spans between a wall and a floor, the platform portion is secured to the wall cantileveredly, and the headboard frame is secured to the wall distal to the floor.

The present invention, provides a foldable wall bed/sofa (100) comprising: a pivotable bed frame (102), a foldable sofa frame (108), a connector (116) for connecting said foldable sofa frame (108) to said bed frame (102), a sofa retracting mechanism comprising a sofa locking device (118A, B) for keeping said foldable sofa frame (108) folded when rotating said bed frame (102) to vertical/horizontal positions, and a bed retracting mechanism (106) comprising a bed locking device (120) for keeping said bed frame (102) fixed in vertical position. Said foldable wall bed/sofa (100) configurable to at least, one of: (a) said bed frame (102) maintained in a horizontal position with said sofa frame (108) folded and positioned underneath the lower surface of said bed frame (102); (b) said bed frame (102) maintained in a vertical position where said sofa frame (108) is folded and positioned adjacent, to the lower surface of said bed frame (102); (c) said bed frame (102) maintained in a vertical position where said sofa frame (108) is unfolded in a horizontal position.

The present invention, provides a foldable wall bed/sofa (100) comprising: a pivotable bed frame (102), a foldable sofa frame (108), a connector (116) for connecting said foldable sofa frame (108) to said bed frame (102), a sofa retracting mechanism comprising a sofa locking device (118A, B) for keeping said foldable sofa frame (108) folded when rotating said bed frame (102) to vertical/horizontal positions, and a bed retracting mechanism (106) comprising a bed locking device (120) for keeping said bed frame (102) fixed in vertical position. A sofa bed assembly comprises a carcass having an inside, outside and interstitial interface. Mechanical moving parts comprise a bed base mount assembly and gas strut all outside the carcass and interface mounted. A base supports a mattress held by base sidewalls, vertical within and filling the carcass with the sofa bed closed. An armrest supports a sitter's arm in the closed assembly and as is a proximal bed support in the open assembly. Pivoted leg supports at the end of the bed base rotate as distal bed supports. Alternatively, a sofa is moved to the end of the bed base as distal bed support. An armrest extension extends the armrest for the closed assembly and folds through 90 for the open assembly allowing the armrest to act as the proximal bed support. Armrest shields cover mechanical moving parts.

A sofa bed assembly comprises a carcass having an inside, outside and interstitial interface. Mechanical moving parts comprise a bed base mount assembly and gas strut all outside the carcass and interface mounted. A base supports a mattress held by base sidewalls, vertical within and filling the carcass with the sofa bed closed. A foldout bed housing with four panels is described. The housing includes a bed tray comprising a first panel, a second panel, a third panel, and a fourth panel, wherein the first and second panels are hingeably coupled and the third and fourth panels are hingeably coupled, and one or more fasteners for rigidly coupling the first and second panels with the third and fourth panels in a planar surface. The housing also includes a first and second side wall, a front panel, a first back panel, a top panel, and a counterbalance mechanism. Each housing component can be shipped in a packed configuration for economic shipping. Upon delivery, the combination can be unpacked for quick and easy installation.

The present disclosure provides for a novel collapsible bench seat including an upright cabinet enclosure configured to receive and conceal a bed frame and a mattress. The collapsible bench seat includes at least one actuating leg hingeably connected to the bed frame configured to pivot from a locked position to an unlocked position and configured to vertically support the bedframe when in a horizontal position. The collapsible bench seat includes an armrest comprising a spring biased backrest jam member and a receiving chamber. The collapsible bench seat further includes a leg member defining a receiving chamber configured to receive a spring biased bench seat jam member and a bench seat pivotally connected to the outer surface.

A combination furniture construction comprising a bed frame, movable between a vertical and horizontal position, in which the bed frame has a pair of elongated boards on each end that extend over to a floor cabinet and engage pivots on each end of the floor cabinet, that when rotated to a vertical position on the pivots, the bed frame comes to rest on top of the cabinet.

A foldout bed is described. The foldout bed has a left side wall, a right side wall, and a top panel that extends between and attached to the top ends of the two side walls. The bottom end of each side wall is coupled with a counterbalance mechanism. A bed tray is pivotally coupled with a the counterbalance mechanisms and is transitionable between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The bed tray provides a unitary planar surface that is configured to support a mattress and a person when in the open configuration. Each counterbalance mechanism has a frame and a piston that attaches the frame to the bed tray. The frame has a base flange disposed perpendicular to the side walls and located at the bottommost end of the counterbalance mechanism against a base plate of the wall.
