LIQUID PRECURSOR VAPORIZER

In some examples, a liquid precursor vaporizer comprises an inlet, an outlet, and a first vaporizer core, the first vaporizer core including a plurality of nested cells defining a plurality of tortuous paths through which a liquid precursor can pass in a path between the inlet and the outlet of the liquid precursor vaporizer.

INSERT SINTERED PART AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR SAME

By using a forming die having a fixed die and a movable die moving along a parting surface on the fixed die and by moving the movable die along the parting surface, to press and hold a sintered part between the movable die and the fixed die, to form a cavity around the sintered part except parts which abut on the fixed die and the movable die by the forming die, and to fill the cavity with melted material which becomes an exterior part, so that the sintered part and the exterior part are integrated by insert molding.

A 3D item formed on a base having a cavity or void to form an anchor. An extruded filament of a heated material is first deposited into the cavity at a high temperature and high flow rate such that the material flows easier and fills the cavity and forms the anchor. After the cavity is filled such that the anchor is formed, the extrusion of the filament continues at a lower temperature and at a lower flow rate to form the 3D item upon the anchor. The extruded filament in the cavity and the 3D item are a unitary item.

THREE-DIMENSIONAL-PRINTED VESSEL FOR WETTABILITY ASSESSMENT OF FRACTURING PROPPANTS

Systems, methods, and apparatus for a three-dimensional (3D)-printed vessel for wettability assessment of fracturing proppants are disclosed. The vessel includes a base component including a threaded cylindrical portion extending outward from a first side of the base component. The cylindrical portion has a particular thread profile. The base component defines a cavity sized to contain a proppant sample. A cap is configured to be screwed onto the threaded cylindrical portion after the proppant sample is injected into the cavity. A surface of the cap is shaped to flatten a proppant surface of the proppant sample. The cap is threaded with the particular thread profile. A pin is configured to be partially screwed onto a second side of the base component before the proppant sample is injected into the cavity. The second side is opposite to the first side. Other embodiments may be described or claimed.

HEAT EXCHANGER CORE AND HEAT EXCHANGER

In a header of a heat exchanger core, a header passage includes: at least one radial passage extending along a radial direction, and a plurality of circumferential passages branched from each radial passage and communicating with one or more of the axial passages, respectively. The flow passage area of each radial passage is smaller in a second position than in a first position, where the second position is inward of the first position in the radial direction.

A heat exchanger (100) includes a flow path layer (10) in which a first flow path (11) extending in a first direction and a second flow path (12) extending in a second direction are disposed in the same layer. In each of the first flow path and the second flow path, a flow path cross-sectional area is reduced and expanded along an extending direction of the flow path. The first flow path and the second flow path intersect each other in the same layer in first portions (23, 33) of which the flow path cross-sectional area is reduced, due to displacement of the first portions (23, 33) in a third direction.

Additive manufacturing methods for golf club components

Methods of creating golf club components with complex structures that would be difficult, impossible, or cost prohibitive to produce, such as lattice structures, beam structures, and complex surface-based structures, are described herein. In particular, a binder jet machine is used create complex structures to optimize weighting, sound, and performance of golf club heads. The method preferably includes the steps of designing a golf club head component in CAD using optimization software, printing the component from a powdered material, and then removing excess powder from the component via port holes that extend into an external surface of the component and communicate with interior voids within the component.
