Adjustable Bed with Foundation Spring Support
The disclosure relates to an adjustable bed and foundation thereof, in particular incorporating springs or other support elements into the adjustable bed foundation or frame. The adjustable bed can include one or more foundation spring support sections mounted on or in a mattress support surface of the bed foundation. Spring support sections having different firmness levels in different mattress support sections can provide a varying support level to a user of the adjustable bed foundation combined with a mattress thereon. Spring support sections that are discrete from each other can permit articulation of the corresponding mattress support surface sections without creating bending, elongation, and/or compression stresses which might otherwise cause uneven support from or damage to a continuous spring support element spanning multiple mattress support surface sections.
All truss foundation unit, method of making the same and foundation unit kit
An all truss foundation unit, method of making the foundation unit, and a foundation unit kit. The foundation unit is formed of multiple cross trusses interconnected by bridging top and bottom side rails. This results in a flat surface on both the top and the bottom of the foundation unit. The kit is formed of a plurality of the trusses and four side rails, with the trusses and side rails being oriented together with their longitudinal dimensions aligned in a generally parallel orientation and with at least some of their flat sides in contact with one another. When the foundation unit is constructed, a truss locator guide is provided on at least two of the side rails, and the cross trusses are oriented in a parallel, spaced relationship in accordance with the truss locator guide.
Flexible foldable furniture by using honeycomb technology
The present invention relates to an improved furniture system, particularly a sofa and a bed, which is reduced to a minimum volume for transportation. The minimum volume is created to meet the current requirements for e-commerce. A flexible foldable honeycomb structure is used in manufacturing a supporting structure for a seat and a bed frame, wherein the hexagonal shape of said structure is strong and stable and provides a high bearing capacity versus weight. The honeycomb structure is designed to be foldable and used for saving space and to be easier for delivery in a box that fits in a small car, wherein said structure used flaccid materials that are glued to each other in certain way to open and close easily, wherein the number of layers of the flaccid materials determines the expansion length of the structure and these layers together is called a block of honeycomb.
Compressible foam foundation for mattress support
A foundation for a mattress is formed from a foam block and supports that extend across the bottom side of the foam block. The supports are preferably secured within channels in the bottom side of the foam block and can be attached to the foam block by an adhesive. The foam block is made of foam rigid enough to support a mattress and is compressible so it has a compressed configuration and an expanded configuration. In the compressed configuration, the foundation may be folded into a compact form and vacuum-sealed in a plastic membrane which easies in storage, shipping, and delivery of the foundation. When the foundation is delivered to its place of use, the compressed foundation can be removed from its packaging, allowing the foam block to return to its expanded configuration and placed onto a standard bed frame with the supports providing crosswise support across the frame.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RAISING A BED OFF THE FLOOR
An apparatus includes a plurality of base plates structured to be positioned on a surface, and a bed frame comprising a plurality of rails configured to receive a bed thereon. A lifting assembly is coupled to each of the base plates and the bed frame. The lifting assembly includes a plurality of lifting members pivotally coupled to base plates and the plurality of rails of the bed frame. A securing mechanism selectively secures at least a portion of the lifting members in a fixed position. The lifting assembly is movable between a first configuration in which the plurality of rails of the bed frame, and thereby the bed positioned thereon, is positioned proximate to the surface, and a second configuration in which the plurality of rails of the bed frame and, thereby the bed are raised off the surface.
Fear reducing blockade and methods of making and using same
Disclosed herein is an apparatus to block off a space under a bed frame, the apparatus comprising a longitudinal member configured to fill a gap between a floor and a lower edge of the elongated portion of the bed frame, the first end of the longitudinal member being removably connected to the first leg of the bed frame by a first connector, and the second end of the longitudinal member being removably connected to the second leg of the bed frame by a second connector. Corresponding systems and methods also are disclosed.

KNOCKDOWNABLE BED
The knockdownable bed includes a frame having a pair of side frame rails transversely spaced, longitudinally aligned and arranged parallel to each other; and at least one connection bar detachably mounted onto the pair of side frame rails; and a plurality of slats longitudinally spaced, transversely aligned on the frame. Each of the pair of side frame rails is foldable.
MATTRESS FOUNDATIONS
A mattress foundation for inclusion as part of a bed, to support a mattress, such as one of the type made of foam material and usually marketed and shipped in a compressed, reduced-sized configuration. The mattress foundation is configured to be marketed and shipped to a purchaser as a set of subassemblies and parts that are contained together in a compact package and can be assembled without use of tools. The set of mattress foundation subassemblies and parts can be packed and shipped in a rectangular box made of material such as corrugated cardboard that may be flattened out and incorporated in the mattress foundation. The package in which the subassemblies and parts are contained is small enough to be carried up stairways and through passageways to a bedroom where a bed incorporating the mattress foundation is to be set up for use.
LUMBAR SUPPORT MECHANISM AND ADJUSTABLE BED THEREWITH
The lumbar support mechanism and an adjustable bed having the same. The lumbar support mechanism includes first and second lumbar lifting assemblies. Each lumbar lifting assembly has a fixing bracket, a first support leg, a second support leg, a bearing member, and a lifting support bracket. The first support leg is pivotally connected between the bearing member and the lifting support bracket. The second support leg is pivotally connected between the fixing bracket and the first support leg. A lumbar support member is connected to the lifting support brackets of the first and second lumbar lifting assemblies. A linkage member is pivotally connected to the bearing members of the first and second lumbar lifting assemblies such that the lumbar support member is operably movable between a retracted position and an ejected position when the linkage member moves between first and second positions.
