Additive manufacturing with gas delivery and dispenser on common support
An additive manufacturing system includes a platen having a top surface, a support structure, a powder dispenser coupled to the support structure and positioned above the platen and configured to deliver a powder in a linear region that extends along a first axis, a gas dispenser coupled to the support structure in a fixed position relative to the powder dispenser and having an outlet to deliver a gas across the outermost layer of feed material, an energy source configured to selectively fused the layer of powder, and an actuator coupled to the support to move the support with the powder dispenser and the gas dispenser together along a second axis perpendicular to the first axis and parallel to the top surface such that the linear region and the outlet sweep along the second axis to deposit the powder in a swath over the platen and deliver the gas.
3D PRINTING SYSTEM
A 3D printing system comprises a pressure system to provide a negative pressure and a hopper having a first opening to receive powder to be used for printing, wherein the powder is received in an open state of the first opening. The hopper has a second opening to guide air from outside the hopper to inside the hopper and has a third opening connected to the pressure system so as to provide for a negative pressure inside the hopper, the negative pressure to overcompensate for the air receive through the second opening such that a pressure being lower when compared to an ambient pressure of the hopper is generated inside the hopper.

An additive manufacturing apparatus including a build chamber in which an object is built and a flow device. The flow device comprises a body having a Coand{hacek over (a)} surface and a passageway connectable to a pressurised gas source. The passageway has an opening located adjacent to the Coand{hacek over (a)} surface to, in use, direct a jet of gas over the Coand{hacek over (a)} surface. A space adjacent the Coand{hacek over (a)} surface is in fluid communication with the build chamber such that gas drawn into and/or propelled from the space causes gas flow through the build chamber.

The present disclosure is directed to methods for producing a single-walled carbon nanotube in a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) reactor. The methods comprise contacting liquid catalyst droplets and a carbon source in the reactor, and forming a single walled carbon nanotube at the surface of the liquid catalyst droplets.
Metal powder sintering paste and method of producing the same, and method of producing conductive material
There is a problem that when a silver powder sintering paste that is substantially free from resin is used, an organic solvent used as a dispersion medium bleeds, which results in contamination and wire bonding defects. In order to solve the problem, provided is a metal powder sintering paste that contains, as a principal component, silver particles having an average particle diameter (a median diameter) of 0.3 m to 5 m and further contains an anionic surfactant but is substantially free from resin.
Coil component
A coil component includes a magnetic body part and a coil part. The magnetic body part has first and second magnetic layers stacked together alternately in one axis direction, and cover parts covering the first and second magnetic layers from the one axis direction. The coil part has conductor patterns provided on the second magnetic layers. COATING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR METAL-COATING OF WORKPIECES
The invention relates to a coating device and to a method for metal-coating of workpieces, comprising a housing, which surrounds a working space, a retaining apparatus for retaining at least one workpiece in the working space, at least one deposition apparatus comprising a deposition nozzle for applying a metal powder to a workpiece surface to be coated, and a laser for locally melting the metal powder on the workpiece surface to form a coating, at least one movement apparatus, by means of which the at least one deposition apparatus can be moved relative to the workpiece surface during the coating, at least one air supply and at least one air discharge. According to the invention, it is provided that the air supply is arranged in an upper region of the working space above the workpiece and the air discharge is arranged in a lower region of the working space below the workpiece. In addition, a additional suction apparatus is provided with at least one suction opening, which is arranged close to the workpiece.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR METAL-COATING
The invention relates to a method and to a system for metal-coating at least one surface of a workpiece, in which before coating, a surface structure with peaks and troughs in the surface to be coated is detected by means of a measuring apparatus, the coating is carried out by means of at least one deposition apparatus, which is moved relative to the surface and applies coating material in the process, and the deposition apparatus is controlled by a control apparatus on the basis of the detected surface structure, wherein more material is applied in the region of troughs and less material is applied in the region of peaks.
