BED BASE ELEVATION SYSTEM
The system comprises two frame structures (1) and (2) articulated with each other at their sides, the articulations (3) thereof incorporating bearings and connected in a simple manner by pins (14) and end washers (15), such that it incorporates lower supporting means that are stable at one end and rolling at the other end, whereby the elevation and lowering are performed by moving the frame structure (2) with a piston (10) that is driven by a motor (11), such that the piston (10) is articulated at its free end with a cross member (13) of the frame structure (2) and the motor (11) is articulated with the cross member (5′) of the frame structure (1). The frame structures end at the top in supports articulated with brackets in the form of forks (7) on which the bed base to be raised or lowered rests. The profiles used have a quadrangular cross-section, thereby providing a simple structure that is easily assembled and consequently inexpensive, usable with any bed base.
ADJUSTABLE BED
An adjustable bed system includes a pair of side rails transversely spaced, longitudinally aligned and arranged parallel to each other; and a pair of lifting assemblies attached respectively to the pair of side rails for operably adjusting positions of at least one part of a bed. Each lifting assembly comprises a back lifting arm and a leg lifting mechanism; a bracket; and a back lifting actuator and a leg lifting actuator received in the bracket. Each actuator includes an activation member and a motor member engaged with the activation member for driving the activation member. The activation member of the back lifting actuator is engaged with the back lifting arm for operably adjusting the back lifting arm at desired back positions. The activation member of the leg lifting actuator is engaged to the leg lifting mechanism for operably adjusting the leg lifting mechanism at desired leg positions.
Base seat for bed, chair or sofa
A base seat for a bed, chair or sofa includes a fixation base, first and second rocking mounts, four arms pivotally connected between the fixation base and the first rocking mount such that a distance between top ends of each paired arms is smaller than a distance between bottom ends of the paired arms, and another four arms pivotally connected between the first and second rocking mounts such that a distance between top ends of each paired arms is smaller than a distance between bottom ends of the paired arms. First and second drive devices respectively drive the first and second rocking mounts to swing leftward and rightward relative to the fixation base and forward and backward relative to the first rocking mount along first and second arc paths with variable inclined angles, such that the base seat has a multidirectional swinging function with desired inclined angles during swinging.
ADJUSTABLE BED INTEGRATED WITH HEADBOARD AND FRAMES
In one aspect of the invention, the adjustable bed includes a headboard assembly having a headboard and an upper rail attached to the headboard; a footboard assembly having a footboard and a lower rail attached to the footboard; a pair of sideboard assemblies having a pair of sideboards and a pair of side rails respectively attached to the pair of sideboards, wherein the pair of sideboard assemblies is transversely spaced and longitudinally aligned in parallel, and detachably attached to the headboard assembly and the footboard assembly; and a lifting mechanism attached to the side rails of the pair of sideboard assemblies for operably adjusting the adjustable bed at a desired position.
Patient transport apparatus with movable head section
A patient transport apparatus comprises support structure. The support structure comprises a base, a support frame, and a patient support deck. A headboard and a footboard are coupled to the support structure. The support frame comprises a head section and a body section, the body section coupled to the patient support deck. The patient support deck comprises a patient support surface capable of articulating relative to the support frame. The head section is movable relative to the body section to define first and second configurations of the support frame, the support frame having a first footprint in the first configuration and a second footprint, smaller than the first footprint, in the second configuration.

Extendable fluid conduit for reconfigurable bed
A patient support system including a frame having first and second portions, at least one of them movable with respect to the other to transition the frame between a first configuration and a second configuration. A first port is coupled to the first portion of the frame, and a second port disposed with the second portion of the frame, such that a distance between the first port and the second port changes when the frame transitions between the first and second configurations. A fluid conduit is arranged between the first port and the second port and configured to transition between a first length and a second length, longer than the first length, when the frame is transitioned between the first and second configurations. The fluid conduit is configured with a resiliency to naturally return toward the first length. A method of using a patient support system is also included.

Bed frame convenient for changing bed sheets
A bed frame convenient for changing bed sheets includes a base, a rotation module for accommodating a mattress located above the base, a sliding module located between the rotation module and the base, a sliding device located between the sliding module and the base, wherein the sliding module is able to slide along a length of the base through the sliding device, and a rotation device located between the sliding module and the rotation module, wherein the rotation module is able to rotate around a central axis of the sliding module. Through the cooperation of the sliding device and the rotation device, a staff is able to change the bed sheet only by standing in one position, which greatly saves energy and time of the staff. After changing the bed sheet every time, the mattress is rotated exactly 180 degrees, which is able to extend the life of the mattress.
