Embodiments can include a first support member disposed in opposed spaced apart relation to a second support member and one or more flexible members connected by the respective flexible member ends to the first support member and the second support member can be positioned to supportingly engage the head of an individual.

In one embodiment, a method of supporting the neck of a user when the user is laying on his or her back includes: obtaining a neck support device including first and second leg attachment portions, a head cradle, and a first coupling portion attaching the first leg attachment portion to the head cradle and a second coupling portion attaching the second leg attachment portion to the head cradle; attaching the first leg attachment portion to the first leg or foot of the user; attaching the second leg attachment portion to the second leg or foot of the user; and arranging the head cradle on a back portion of a user's head such that the user's head is held in tension.

A sleep aid apparatus for assisting side-sleepers is disclosed herein. The apparatus greatly reduces the amount of pressure that is typically experienced by side-sleepers on the inferior portions of their upper body and their arms. The inventive apparatus alleviates these problems by improving cervical nerve decompression, reducing pressure on the side-sleeper's spine, and improving neurovascular circulation in the side-sleeper's arms.

A sleep aid apparatus for assisting side-sleepers is disclosed herein. The parent support and comfort means is operable to support at least part of the back of an individual when the individual is lying laterally. The infant portion can support an infant. The parent support and comfort arrangement and the infant portion are joined or are adapted to be joinable to one another.
PILLOW WITH GUSSET OF OPEN CELL CONSTRUCTION
A pillow is provided herein which includes a cover having opposing first and second panels. A gusset perimetrically bounds, and joins, the first and second panels. The gusset is formed of an open cell construction. Compliant fill material is disposed within the cover. Advantageously, with the subject invention, a pillow is provided allowing for lateral ventilation between opposing panels. This permits a cooling effect while a user is resting or sleeping.
