WORKPIECE SUPPORT AND MACHINE TOOL
A workpiece support includes a rotating shaft configured to support a workpiece at a leading end portion, a second support supporting the rotating shaft rotatably about a first axis and configured to move the rotating shaft along the first axis, a first support provided between the tool and the second support along the first axis and including a through hole into which a guide bushing unit is configured to be inserted and into which the leading end portion of the rotating shaft is configured to be inserted, and an attachment provided in contact with an outer surface of the leading end portion of the rotating shaft. The guide bushing unit is configured to support the workpiece when the guide bushing unit is in the through hole. At least a part of the attachment is displaceable in a direction away from the first axis.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR RECOVERING AND UNLOADING BAR CROP ENDS FROM A MACHINE TOOL
A device and method for recovering and unloading bar crop ends is suitable for use with a loading apparatus for supplying bars to a machine tool. The devices includes a grasping element suitable for engaging a bar-pushing unit of the loading apparatus and a bar crop-end to be taken and unloaded. A slide element receives and conveys the bar crop ends to a collecting zone. A supporting and transferring unit transfers the grasping element from an upper position, in which it is axially aligned on the advancement trajectory of the bar-pushing unit, to a lower position in which it is near the slide element. The device further includes an ejecting unit that is drivable for penetrating the grasping element in the lower position to eject the crop end and sending the crop end, by the slide element, to the collecting zone.
A method is also disclosed for recovering and unloading bar crop ends from a machine tool.
OUT OF CENTER COOLING BORE DRILLING FOR GAS TURBINE ROTOR
A cooling bore guide for reaming an enlarged portion into a cooling bore of a rotor. The cooling bore guide may include a cutter guide for insertion into the cooling bore and a guide lock for insertion into an adjacent cooling bore.
Processing machine and method for working the end of a pipe
A processing machine and method for planing an end surface of a finished pipe with a clamping device for the pipe to be processed via a tool holder with a planing tool, whereby the tool holder is driven by a motor and can rotate about an axis of rotation. The tool holder is driven by a motor so that it can rotate about an axis of rotation, whereby the clamping device and the tool holder are driven by a motor and can move toward one another in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation of the tool holder. The processing machine includes a cooling device that is arranged in such a manner that it cools the pipe to be processed and/or the planing tool with the aid of liquid and/or solid carbon dioxide during the operation of the device.
MACHINE TOOL
The machine tool comprises a headstock provided with a main spindle; a driving unit which moves the headstock in a main spindle axial direction and has a feed mechanism extended in the main spindle axial direction and a front end supporter which rotatably supports a front end of the feed mechanism; a first front cover mounted on the headstock in a first position between the main spindle and the feed mechanism with respect to a diameter direction from a main spindle axis toward the feed mechanism; and a second front cover mounted on the front end supporter in a second position between the main spindle and the feed mechanism. Part of the feed mechanism is covered by both of the first front cover and the second front cover when at least part of the first front cover is on the rear side of the second front cover.

OVERMOLDED BODY FOR BAR FEEDER
Method of producing a body (1) for bar feeders, wherein it comprises a first molding step (A) carried out with the aid of a first molding material (M1) in a mold (20) jointly with an overmolding step (B) of a countermold (50), the shape of the mold (20) and/or the shape impressions of the countermold being conceived to achieve in an integral way at least one structural and/or functional element of the said bar feeder.
Friction bushing
A friction bushing for being positioned on a shaft for friction-retarded rotation relative to the shaft, including a housing having a bore for receiving the shaft and a flange plate positioned on the housing around the bore. A plurality of flanges are carried by the flange plate and adapted for extending axially outwardly from the flange plate and along circumferentially-spaced apart areas of the shaft for frictionally-engaging axially-extending areas of the shaft.
Balancing device for a bar loading magazine
A balancing device for a bar loading magazine for guiding material bars on a turning machine, includes at least one mass body that can be repeatedly positioned in relation to a guiding unit that allows a rotation of an introduced material bar about a rotary axis. The mass body is, after each completed positioning, in a connection with the guiding unit and/or the material bar, so that the mass body rotates, during the rotation of an introduced material bar, together with the material bar at the same angular speed about the rotary axis. At least one positioning unit is designed to bring the mass body into a starting position in relation to the guiding unit, to detect during rotation any required repositioning because of an imbalance, and to reposition in each case the mass body in response to the detection of any required repositioning in relation to the guiding unit.
