This oscillating sleep induction bed includes a plurality of oscillating support devices positioned in a dispersed manner. Each oscillating support device is provided with a support part) installed on the floor surface, a pendulum member capable of oscillating in the lateral direction of the bed, and link members that link the upper part of the support part and the lower part of the pendulum member. The upper end part of the pendulum member is fixed to the lower surface side of the bed body. The pendulum member oscillates with respect to the support part. A drive device is provided between the bed body and the upper part of the support part constituting the oscillating support device, whereby the bed body can be made to oscillate laterally with respect to the support part.

DEVICE AND METHOD TO INDUCE VIBRATIONAL WAVEFORMS THAT HETERODYNE IN THE BODY TO IMPROVE SLEEP ONSET AND SLEEP QUALITY

A system for introducing vibrational waves into a body of a subject to treat sleep disorders is provided. The system includes a bed frame having a first vibration contact and a second vibration contact. The first vibration contact is in mechanical communication with a first location of the body of the subject, and the second vibration contact is in mechanical communication with a second location of the body of the subject. A first vibration source is connected to the first vibration contact and configured to cause a first vibration of the first vibration contact. A second vibration source is connected to the second vibration contact and configured to cause a second vibration of the second vibration contact. The location or orientation of the first vibration contact and the second vibration contact are configured such that the first vibration combines with the second vibration to generate a super-imposed vibration.

Method for operating smart mattress system enabling alarm control

The present invention relates to a method of operating a smart mattress system enabling alarm control, wherein a user is allowed to transition to a light sleep state before an alarm time set by the user. Furthermore, an air mattress and an air pillow interlock with a user terminal so that the user can easily control the air mattress and the air pillow.

Rocking bed that produces pitch, roll, translational and vibration movements

A rocking bed is disclosed which produces pitching (movement up and down relative to the sleeper), rolling (side to side relative to the sleeper), or translational (movement within the X-Y plane without changing orientation of the sleeper) motion to trigger sensory mismatch which aids the onset of sleep. One embodiment of the bed comprises a top frame supported by triangular trusses, which can rotate freely through pillow block bearings. A motor and crank shaft mechanism causes the bed to pitch upwards and downwards. Another rocking bed embodiment is disclosed wherein the top frame sits on an inverted pyramid structure, which sits on a ball and socket joint that is fixed to the base frame with two motors. These motors permit the full range of motion and can combine types of motion to accelerate sleep onset.

Orbit Sleep Bed

A system and method for providing an Orbit Sleep Concept Bed according to the present invention includes a rotating bed platform for slowly rotating from side to side to continually reposition during a sleep period, a motor and controller box coupled to the rotating bed platform for rotating the bed platform from side to side to continually reposition during a sleep period, and a base having a pair of side supports and connecting side members supporting the rotating bed. The rotating bed platform includes a platform bed, a top and bottom connection rails running along a length of the platform bed, a set of strap/hammock about an inner side of the platform bed, a thin foam mattress having a thin foam base and a partial foam base, a pair of guide rails along an outer side of the platform bed, each of the pair of guide rails resting upon a set of roller supports coupled to each end of the side supports of the base, and a drive strap coupled to top and bottom rails and engaging the motor and controller box to move the platform bed.

HUMAN BODY SUPPORT DEVICE

To provide a user with a new sensation through a tactile sensation, an auditory sensation, and a visual sensation, a human body support device has an overall shape that can easily be used as a chair or a couch. The human body support device includes a frame that is formed from, for example, metal or resin, and a plurality of modules that are arranged in a plurality of sites to support the user body on the frame. These modules include a sound emitting module that is provided with a speaker, and a vibrating and light-emitting module that is provided with an LED and a voice coil motor. These modules have an elastic part that is formed by an elastic material such as a sponge in a location that is in contact with the user body. The orientation and position of the modules are designed so as to be in proper contact with and support the user body, and accordingly, the user body can be comfortably supported.

Adjustable bed with folding mechanism

An adjustable bed includes: a head frame and a foot frame; a head lifting assembly including a head lifting bracket pivotally connected to the head frame, and a head lifting actuator pivotally connected between the head lifting bracket and the head frame for operably driving the head lifting bracket to pivotally move in an upward rotating direction or a downward rotating direction; a foot lifting assembly including a foot lifting bracket pivotally connected to the foot frame, and a foot lifting actuator pivotally connected between the foot lifting bracket and the foot frame for operably driving the foot lifting bracket to pivotally move in an upward rotating direction or a downward rotating direction; and a folding mechanism connecting the head frame and the foot frame such that the head frame and the foot frame are pivotably foldable to one another at the folding mechanism.
