Bed Cover Retention Apparatus
A bed cover retention apparatus (10) has an elastic band (14), a clip (16), and a planar strip (12), the planar strip having a first (interior, insertion) end (26), a second (extraction, distal) end (28), a first surface, and a second surface. The first surface and/or the second surface may be a high friction surface (24), or may be a smooth surface having a high friction material (24) attached thereto. The elastic band is connected to the first end, extends along the planar strip toward the second end, and is connected to the clip. An optional extraction hole (20), an optional extraction ridge (22), and/or an optional flare (54) may be provided. The planar strip may be tapered smaller in width from the second end to the first end.
Adjustable bedding cover height and lengthwise positioning apparatus
An adjustable bedding (18) cover height and lengthwise positioning apparatus (30). A base (32) is configured for positioning between a bed frame (12) and an adjacent mattress (14). At least one riser (36, 38) allows adjustment of the height and lengthwise positioning of bedding with respect to the mattress. A connecting section (34), connected between the base and the risers optionally allows rotation of the risers with respect to the base. A clip (46) is connected to the at least one riser and secures the bedding to the apparatus. A fan (70) adjacent the clip includes an inflow channel (72) for active passage of airflow therethrough. An optional top support (40) provides a support width for the bedding which is preferably at least as broad as the width between a user's feet when the user is sleeping on his or her back.
BEDMAKING TOOLS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
Bedmaking tools are disclosed. Methods of making and using bedmaking tools are also disclosed.
PAD HOLDER
A pad holder includes a base panel. The base panel includes a panel perimeter edge that defines a panel face. A lip material is connected to the panel face at a connection. A lip of the lip material extends from the connection towards a center of the panel face. The lip includes a lip perimeter edge, and the lip, panel face, and the connection collectively define an envelope. The envelope includes an opening defined by the lip perimeter edge. The envelope is sized to receive a liquid absorbent pad where the lip overlaps edges of the liquid absorbent pad when the liquid absorbent pad is disposed within the envelope.
CONNECTION STRUCTURE AND ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE
A connection structure includes a first apparatus and a second apparatus. The first apparatus includes a first contact portion and a surrounding wall surface. The second apparatus includes a second contact portion and a hollow projection. The first apparatus and the second apparatus are connected as being rotatable relatively to each other around a magnetic force direction and attachable to and detachable from each other, as a result of attraction by magnetic force. The projection is located with a clearance being interposed between the wall surface and the first contact portion, where the projection can be tilted in accordance with pulling including a direction component perpendicular to the magnetic force direction. In the first apparatus, a clearance between a top portion and the projection in a first direction is larger than a clearance between the top portion and the projection in a second direction different from the first direction.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SECURING AN UNDERPAD ON A MATTRESS
An apparatus comprises a mattress. An underpad is positioned on the mattress such that a lower surface of the underpad is in contact with the mattress. A securing assembly is interposed between the mattress and the underpad. The securing assembly comprises a plurality of securing member positioned on the lower surface of the underpad, and a plurality of mating securing members positioned on the mattress. Each of the plurality of securing members engages a corresponding mating securing member so as to be removably coupled thereto, thereby immovably positioning the underpad on the mattress.
Spider bed
Devices, apparatus, systems and methods for keeping bottom sheets kept in place about mattresses with a cross pattern of elastic bands placed under a mattress having ends with clips. The clips can clamp to outer edges of the bottom sheet, with the elastic bands also able to additionally keep bottom edges of top sheets and/or bottom edges of blankets in place. The clip ends can be selected from at least one of alligator clips, suspender clips, clamps, and the like.
Active mattress encasement
An active mattress encasement which can be relatively easily installed or removed or rotated over a mattress supported by a foundation is disclosed. The encasement is formed to encapsulate a mattress and may include a top panel, a bottom panel and multiple side panels. One or more of the side panels are zippered together, In one embodiment, the un-zippered side panels, i.e. side panels without zippers, fixedly connect the top and bottom portions of the side panels. In another embodiment, an inflatable volume is integrated into the bottom panel. Alternatively, the inflatable volume may be integrated with a separate detachable cover and attached to the bottom panel by conventional means. The top and bottom panels, as well as the side panels may be made from a conventional materials. The underside of the top panel and optionally the inside of the side panels may be coated with a waterproof coating, such as polyurethane (TPU/PU), silicone, and/or urethane to form a waterproof membrane. In accordance with an important aspect of one embodiment of the invention, an interior surface of the bottom panel is formed with a slick surface while the exterior surface of the bottom panel is integrated with an inflatable volume. The inflatable volume faces outwardly and is adapted to be in contact with the foundation or optional bed skirt. In this embodiment, the exterior surface of the bottom panel of the encasement is formed at least partially with a non-slick surface. The non-slick surface provides a frictional relationship between the exterior surface of the bottom panel of the encasement and the foundation or bed skirt while the encasement is being installed or removed over a mattress. The slick interior surface of the bottom panel allows a mattress to be rotated, installed, or removed, once the bottom panel is juxtaposed between the mattress and the foundation in an application in which the encasement is unzipped and the top panel is disposed on the floor adjacent one end of the mattress. Alternatively, a separate detachable cover may be used to allow the mattress to be relatively easily installed or removed or rotated with the encasement fully installed on the mattress. Optional straps may be provided, fixedly attached to the encasement, to allow the encasement to be snugged against the mattress. This enables the encasement to be used with a relatively wide range of mattress sizes and still provide a snug fit.
Duvet Insertion Device
A device and related method for enabling a single user to facilitate the insertion of a duvet into a duvet cover is described. The duvet holder comprises an engagement element that is individually connected to a corresponding purchase element by way of a strap. Preferably, the user employs two duvet holders at the same time, and arranges them such that the purchase elements are placed underneath two adjacent corners of the mattress at the headboard end of the bed and the respective connected engagement elements are laid on top of the mattress. Assembled duvet/duvet cover corners are inserted into the engagement elements that securely grip the assembled corners while the purchase elements act as resistive anchors to limit movement of the duvet. The user then extends the cover over the rest of the duvet.
