PARTING BLADE AND TOOL HOLDER THEREFOR
A tool holder including a tool shank and a tool head connected to the tool shank. The tool head comprising an insert seat or a blade pocket. Adjacent to at least a portion of a shank side surface there is a reinforcement portion connecting the shank side surface and the tool head.
Intermediate film for laminated glass and laminated glass
There is provided an interlayer film for laminated glass with which any of the anti-glare property, light resistance and visibility in a dark place of laminated glass can be enhanced. The interlayer film for laminated glass according to the present invention includes a thermoplastic resin and has a ratio Ls/Ls of the relative scotopic vision luminance Ls to the relative photopic vision luminance Ls to be greater than or equal to 1.0 at the time of preparing laminated glass with two sheets of clear glass in accordance with JIS R3202 (1996), and the interlayer film for laminated glass according to the present invention preferably includes at least one kind of ingredient among a phthalocyanine compound, a naphthalocyanine compound, an anthracyanine compound and an indanthrene compound which have a maximum absorption wavelength greater than or equal to 550 nm and less than or equal to 750 nm.
Blade-shaped cutting insert and cutting tool therefor
A blade-shaped cutting insert has opposing first and second insert side surfaces with a peripheral surface extending therebetween, and a first cutting portion having a first primary cutting edge extending between the first and second insert side surfaces, defining a maximum insert width of the cutting insert. The peripheral surface includes an upper surface and first and second diverging flank surfaces bisected by a first plane transverse to the upper surface. The cutting insert has a maximum insert length measured perpendicular to the first plane which is more than sixteen times greater than the maximum insert width, and a maximum insert height measured parallel to the first plane which is more than ten times greater than the maximum insert width. The cutting insert is removably secured in an insert receiving pocket of a tool holder, which is defined by an upper clamping jaw and a lower clamping jaw.

Parting blade and grooving and parting-off tool
A parting blade includes an internal cooling agent supply and has two substantially plane-parallel lateral faces and a continuous transversal bore connected to a cooling agent channel that runs parallel to the lateral faces in the interior of the parting blade. In order to provide a parting blade that has no projection on one side, a stopper is provided having two substantially parallel end faces and a circumferential face that connects the end faces. The stopper can be inserted into the transversal bore of the parting blade, thereby sealing the transversal bore relative to at least one lateral face of the parting blade. The stopper terminates without protruding over the sealed lateral face, flush with the lateral face. The stopper has an opening on both the end face and the circumferential face. The openings are connected to one another in the interior of the stopper to connect the cooling agent channel to a cooling agent source.
