Balancing adapter
A balancing adapter for clamping a rotor to a machine part of balancing machine that rotates about an axis of rotation. The balancing adapter has a main body having a central accommodating opening for the rotor, a collet chuck having clamping elements for detachably retaining the rotor in the accommodating opening, and an actuating device for moving the clamping elements between a clamping position and a releasing position. In order to enable positionally accurate and reproducible accommodation and retention, the clamping elements of the collet chuck are supported on a guiding surface on the main body.
TOOL ASSEMBLY INTERFACE
In an interface structure comprising a first assembly and a second assembly wherein the first assembly includes a cavity having a truncated cone-like section, a stop surface effective in the axial direction and a second assembly including a trunnion with a truncated cone-like section for abutment on the truncated cone-like sleeve section of the first assembly and an abutment surface for contacting the abutment surface of the first assembly, between the cavity and the trunnion a bayonet-like locking structure is provided in the interface structure whereby handling with a high repetition accuracy with regard to the position of the assemblies to be joined is ensured.
Modular interface arrangement for tools
In an interface arrangement between a first component group supporting a tool holder and a second component group supporting a machining element in a central opening for releasably accommodating the first component group, a shift lever element provided with engagement members is disposed rotatably on the second component group and provided with engagement and release elements for releasably retaining the first component group in the central opening of the second component group so as to permit a rapid exchange of the first component group by another group with a new tool.
Tool connector
A tool connector includes a main body, an adapter, a first engaging member and a sleeve. The main body includes a driving end portion and a connecting end portion. The main body has a first receiving hole extending along the axial direction and a second receiving hole communicated with the first receiving hole. The adapter is non-rotatably disposed within the first receiving hole and includes a through hole configured for a tool head to be disposed therethrough. The first receiving hole, the second receiving hole and the through hole respectively have a first, a second and a third cross-sectional profiles being non-circular. The second and the third cross-sectional profiles are identical in shape and coaxially arranged. As viewed in the axial direction, at least one geometric feature of the second cross-sectional profile corresponds to at least one geometric feature of the third cross-sectional profile.
