Cutting tool assembly
A cutting tool assembly includes a tool body and a tool holder including a longitudinal axis around which the tool holder is configured to spin. The tool holder includes a central portion connected to the tool body comprising a fastener hole perpendicular with the longitudinal axis and configured to receive a securing fastener, wherein the fastener hole is offset from the longitudinal axis. The tool holder further includes an eccentric drive member connected to the cylindrical portion. The tool holder can optionally further include an end alignment cylinder connected to the eccentric drive member.
Clamping shank for a tool and tool comprising the clamping shank
A clamping shank for a tool for clamping the tool into a rotary driving clamping device is proposed. The clamping shank comprises a circular shank portion and a pentagonal shank portion adjoining the circular shank portion. Four contiguous side faces of the pentagonal shank portion each form an angle of 90° to each other in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the clamping shank. A fifth side face of the pentagonal shank portion forms in said plane angles of greater than 90° with each of the adjacent side faces of the pentagonal shank portion.
ROTARY CUTTING TOOL
A rotary cutting tool includes: a blade portion; a shank portion having a diameter larger than a diameter of the blade portion; and a tapered connecting portion connecting the blade portion and the shank portion. The shank portion includes a plurality of coolant-guide recessed grooves provided in its outer circumferential surface. Each of the coolant-guide recessed grooves has a groove depth and a groove width that is larger than the groove depth. Each of the coolant-guide recessed grooves has a groove bottom that is shaped such that the groove depth is reduced as the each of the coolant-guide recessed grooves extends from its start end toward a groove-depth regional-change position in which a tendency of change of the groove depth is changed.
MANDREL AND ACCESSORY FOR ROTARY TOOL
A rotary tool mandrel includes a shaft, locking projections, a collar, and a fastener. The shaft extends along a longitudinal axis and includes a distal end. The locking projections protrude radially relative to the longitudinal axis and positioned on opposite sides of the longitudinal axis from one another. Each of the locking projections define a locking projection outer profile that is rectilinear. The collar is coupled to the shaft and includes a pair of coupling projections protruding from a surface of the collar adjacent the distal end of the shaft. The coupling projections are angularly offset from the locking projections with respect to the longitudinal axis. Each of the coupling projections define a coupling projection that is rectilinear. The fastener is coupled to the shaft and movable relative to the shaft along the longitudinal axis, and movement of the fastener causes the locking projections to move toward the coupling projections.
INSERT HOLDER HAVING INSERT RECEIVING RECESS WITH INSERT ORIENTATION PROJECTION AND CUTTING TOOL
A cutting tool includes a cutting insert resiliently clamped in an insert holder. The insert holder includes a forwardly located insert mounting portion that includes an insert receiving recess which extends along a recess axis. The insert holder includes a fastening member through hole opening out to the insert receiving recess. The insert receiving recess includes an insert orientation projection. The fastening member through hole has a through hole angular extent about the recess axis. The insert orientation projection has an insert orientation projection angular extent about the recess axis. The insert orientation projection angular extent at least partially angularly overlaps the through hole angular extent about the recess axis.
Tool for Double-angle Chamfering Cutter
The present disclosure relates to a tool for a double-angle chamfering cutter, including a cutter handle and a cutter body. The cutter handle is connected to one end of the cutter body via a snap-fit connection device. The cutter body is provided with chamfering blades located symmetrically on both sides of the cutter body. One end of the cutter body is provided with a sliding track perpendicular to the cutter body. A sliding track forms a cavity with the side of the cutter body. A spring is arranged inside the cavity. The bump is fixedly connected to the sliding track. A hole is provided inside the cutter handle. One side of a wall is provided with a groove channel. The cutter body enters along a hole in the cutter handle. The bump corresponding to the cavity of the cutter body falls into the groove channel.
Chucking apparatus for chucking an object, in particular a tool, tool holding fixture and machine tool
A chucking apparatus for chucking an object contains a basic body which has a receiving space in which the object can be disposed. A chucking device is provided with a chucking nut which is screwable onto the basic body and by the chucking nut being screwed onto the basic body the object disposed in the receiving space can be chucked non-rotatably. The chucking nut has a plurality of roller bodies having a defined roller engagement structure. The roller bodies are held in an axially rotatable manner on a chucking body of the chucking nut and are arranged distributed in the circumferential direction on the chucking nut. The rollers by their roller engagement structure are in engagement with the basic body engagement structure of the basic body.
CHUCK ASSEMBLY FOR A ROTARY POWER TOOL
A chuck assembly for a rotary power tool includes a chuck body rotatable about a central axis. The chuck body has a plurality of slots, each oriented at an oblique angle relative to the central axis. The chuck assembly also includes a plurality of jaws, each movable along a respective one of the slots. The chuck assembly also includes a collar coupled to the plurality of jaws. The collar is selectively engageable with the chuck body such that, when engaged, the plurality of jaws are movable along the plurality of slots in response to rotation of the collar.
Tool holder or workpiece holder and set comprising machine tool and tool holder or workpiece holder
Provided is a tool holder or workpiece holder (100, 200) for coupling a tool to a drive spindle of a machine tool, said holder comprising a tool holding or workpiece holding section (110, 210) on which a clamping means (111, 211) for holding the tool is arranged, and comprising a coupling section (120, 220) for coupling to a tool interface (150, 160, 250, 260) of the drive spindle of the machine tool, in which the coupling section (120, 220) is configured as suitable for coupling both to a tool interface (150, 250) for receiving tool holders or workpiece holders that comply with a first standard and to a tool interface (160, 260) for receiving tool holders or workpiece holders that comply with a second standard.
