PASSIVE LOCKING CHUCK FOR ROTARY DRIVER
20210276173 · 2021-09-09 ·

A passive locking chuck for a rotary driver. The chuck has a pair of rings, one fixed and the other rotatable between a first orientation where recesses formed in the rotatable ring are aligned with recesses formed in the fixed ring, and a second orientation where the recesses are offset from one another. When an upper end of a foundation component having a toothed coupler is inserted into the chuck and rotated axially, the movable ring is moved to the second orientation and the foundation component is thereby captured in the chuck. As soon as resistance is encountered from the soil, the ring moves back to the first orientation so that upon reaching the desired embedment depth, the rotary driver may be withdrawn without counter rotation.

Socket

Provided is a socket which includes: an outer socket, an inner socket arranged to face an inner periphery of the outer socket, a coil spring (urging member) configured to urge the inner socket toward one end of the outer socket, and a lock/unlock mechanism configured to restrict the inner socket displaced toward the other end of the outer socket against an urging force of the coil spring from being rotated with respect to the outer socket.

PIN DRIVE ROTARY SURGICAL CUTTING TOOLS AND POWERED HANDPIECES
20210106350 · 2021-04-15 · ·

A surgical cutting tool includes an elongated shaft and a cutting head. The shaft defines a coupling portion terminating at a proximal end of the shaft, a stem portion, and a distal portion. The stem portion defines a central axis. The coupling portion optionally defines a deflection surface positioned oblique with respect to the central axis and connected with a first driven surface and a second driven surface. Upon insertion into a drive chuck, the deflection surface promotes self-alignment of the cutting tool and the drive chuck.

Power tool

The invention relates to a machine tool, in particular a hand held machine tool, which has a tool receiving device that is movable, in particular in an oscillating manner, around an output shaft. The tool receiving device is designed to hold a tool device on the machine tool in such a manner that the output shaft and a tool rotation axis substantially coincide. The tool receiving device has at least one torque transmission region and a holding device. In order to transmit a driving force to the tool device, the torque transmission region has at least two output area regions that are arranged at a distance from said output shaft and each have a multiplicity of surface points. Here, the tangent planes to said surface points are inclined in regard to an axial plane which includes said output shaft. Furthermore, the tangent planes are inclined in regard to a radial plane which extends perpendicularly to the output shaft. In this way, the output torque is transmitted reliably to the tool device by the machine tool via the tool receiving device.

Tool holder has a first section adapted to be connected to a machining center and a tool holding section comprising a bore with a surface defining an inner diameter of the bore. Dispersed around the surface of the bore and at least partially embedded in the surface of the bore is a joining compound having a Young's modulus greater than a Young's modulus of the surface of the bore.

MACHINING HEAD FOR THE MECHANICAL, IN PARTICULAR CUTTING, MACHINING OF A WORKPIECE
