Coupling arrangement for tool, and tool comprising coupling arrangement

A coupling arrangement for a tool, the coupling arrangement comprising a drive part rotatable about a rotation axis, the drive part comprising a drive profile; a driven part rotatable about the rotation axis, the driven part comprising a driven profile complementary to the drive profile, the driven profile being arranged to mate with the drive profile in a coupled position for torque transfer between the drive part and the driven part; and an aligning arrangement arranged to force a relative rotation between the drive part and the driven part about the rotation axis from a nonaligned state of the coupling arrangement, where the drive profile is not rotationally aligned with the driven profile, towards an aligned state of the coupling arrangement, where the drive profile is rotationally aligned with the driven profile.

Tap holder

A tap holder having a simple structure and high runout accuracy is provided. A tap holder includes: a body having a collet holder hole having an opening toward distal end; a tap collet received in the collet holder hole, the tap collet having a tap mounting hole located at a distal end portion, and a sleeve hole located at a basal end portion; a torque transmission mechanism that transmits rotation of the body to the tap collet; a first elastic body disposed between the body and the tap collet to urge the tap collet toward distal end; a sleeve disposed to the body by received in the sleeve hole to prevent the tap collet from slipping off toward distal end; and a second elastic body disposed between the sleeve and the tap collet to urge the tap collet toward basal end.

Cutting tool assembly

A cutting tool assembly includes a first tool part and a second tool part. The first tool part has a forward end portion including a cutting edge and a rearward end portion having a conical section and an engagement section. The second tool part includes a conical recess and a clamping device rearwards the conical recess. The clamping device is provided in a transversal cavity of the second tool part and has a first clamp block, a second clamp block and a differential screw engaging the first and second clamp blocks. The first and second clamp blocks engage the engagement section of the first tool part to pull the first tool part into the conical recess when the first and second clamp blocks are moved towards each other by the differential screw protruding rearwards from the first and second clamp blocks.

DRILL ADAPTER APPARATUS

A drill adapter apparatus for driving an input member which forms a loop includes a base, a first plate, and a second plate. The first and second plates are coupled to the base and are spaced from each other to accommodate a loop of an input member. Each of the first and second plates defines a hole which extends therethrough. A threaded fastener has a fastener shank sized such that the fastener shank is insertable through the holes of the first and second plates. The fastener shank is also sized and configured to insert through the loop of the input member. A nut is engageable with the threaded fastener to secure the threaded fastener to the first and second plates. A torque transfer member coupled to the base opposite the first and second plates which is shaped and configured to be rotatably driven by a drill.

Pin drive rotary surgical cutting tools and powered handpieces

A surgical cutting tool includes an elongated shaft and a cutting head. The shaft defines a coupling portion terminating at a proximal end of the shaft, a stem portion, and a distal portion. The stem portion defines a central axis. The coupling portion optionally defines a deflection surface positioned oblique with respect to the central axis and connected with a first driven surface and a second driven surface. Upon insertion into a drive chuck, the deflection surface promotes self-alignment of the cutting tool and the drive chuck.

Device for transmitting torque from a drill to a drill bit
12479034 · 2025-11-25 · ·

A device for transmitting a torque produced by a drill to a drill bit includes a shank and a tool fitting. The shank has a first outer conical region, a groove region, and a second outer conical region and has longitudinal grooves. The tool fitting has a basic body which has a rotary driving region with outer rotary driving grooves, an intermediate element which has an inner driver region with inner rotary drivers and an outer driver region with outer rotary drivers, and a locking device. In the connected state, the inner rotary drivers engage in the longitudinal grooves and the outer rotary drivers engage in the outer rotary driving grooves. Lower rotary drivers are arranged on the base surface of the intermediate element where the lower rotary drivers, in the connected state, interact with lower rotary driving grooves in the rotary driving region of the basic body.
