ULTRASONIC CUTTER AND ULTRASONIC CUTTER COOLING AND CHIP DIVERSION SYSTEM
An ultrasonic cutter includes a tool holder and an ultrasonic oscillator. The tool holder has a lower circular air-out aisle defined by sleeving an inner ring and an outer ring. The inner ring has oppositely a first surface and a second surface, and the outer ring has oppositely a third surface and a fourth surface. A gap spacing the first surface from the third surface has an upper air inlet and a lower air outlet. The second surface has a lower inner inclined surface forming a first angle with the first surface. The fourth surface has an outer inclined surface forming a second angle with the third surface. The ultrasonic oscillator, disposed in a chamber of the tool holder spatially connected with the gap, is used for providing ultrasonic oscillation to a cutter. In addition, a cooling and chip diversion system for the ultrasonic cutter is also provided.
Cutting tool and method of assembling cutting tool
A cutting tool comprises a shank having an insertion portion protruding from a shank main body, a head in which an insertion hole into which the insertion portion is inserted is formed, and a spacer disposed in a gap between the shank main body and the head. The insertion portion has a tapered outer circumferential surface which gradually decreases in diameter from the other side toward one side in the axial direction. The insertion hole has a tapered inner circumferential surface coming into surface contact with the tapered outer circumferential surface. A head end surface of the head which faces the other side in the axial direction comes into surface contact with a surface facing one side in the axial direction of the spacer.
Lower drill tool for precision forming of openings in a bracket, and methods of use
A lower drill tool that is structurally configured to receive a bracket, and, to cooperate with an upper drill tool having a pair of spaced apart drill bits. The lower drill tool has part receiving surface, a pair of spaced apart drill bores, a central bore, a centering nub and a biasing member. The drill bores extend downwardly away from the part receiving surface. The central bore is between the drill bores and extends downwardly away from the part receiving surface. The centering nub is slidable within the central bore, and has an upper tip extendable beyond the part receiving surface, positionable between an extended position and a partially retracted position. The upper tip has a conical configuration. The biasing member is positioned within the central bore and biases the centering nub toward the extended position. A drill system and a method are also disclosed.
TOOL HOLDER WITH MEASURING APPARATUS
A tool holder is configured for rotation about a tool holder axis of rotation defining an axial direction. The tool holder, at one axial longitudinal end thereof, has a tool section with a tool-receiving formation for receiving a tool and, at the opposite axial longitudinal end, has a coupling section with a coupling formation for torque-transmitting coupling to a machine spindle of a machine tool. A measuring apparatus is configured for acquiring data relating to the operation of the tool holder. The measuring apparatus has a sensor, in particular an acceleration sensor, with at least two measurement axes. The two measurement axes are oriented substantially radially with respect to the tool holder axis of rotation.

Tool Holder Suitable for Hybrid Cryogenic Minimum Quantity Lubrication
The invention provides a tool holder suitable for cryogenic minimum quantity lubrication, which belongs to the technical field of cooling and lubrication of numerical control machine tools. The device comprises a toolholder body, a peripheral static structure, a multilayer sealing structure, a heat insulation structure, and a bearing support structure. The invention solves the problems of insufficient cooling performance in the micro-lubrication technology and insufficient lubrication in the cryogenic cooling machining technology, and integrates the oxygen insulation protection effect of the cryogenic medium, the cooling effect of the cryogenic medium, and the friction reduction and lubrication effect of the micro-lubrication. It has a good processing effect on difficult-to-cut materials. The invention can be used for machining difficult-to-cut materials with traditional numerical control machine tools, expands the application range of external to internal cooling tool holders, effectively reduces the cutting heat of difficult-to-cut materials in cutting processing, improves tool life, and replaces traditional cutting fluids to achieve green manufacturing.
Lathe error-correcting collet chuck
An adjustable collet holder for use with a lathe is provided. The adjustable collet holder may include a set of hold down screws to hold it in place once adjusted. Adjustment may be achieved by adjusting multiple set screws to change both angular and concentricity orientations of a collet receiver relative to a body of the collet holder.
Handle apparatus for an industrial machine tool
A handle is coupled to an industrial machine tool, along with a method of operating the industrial machine tool via the handle. The handle comprises a housing, a first switch, and a second switch. The housing includes a first side, a second side, a top end, and a bottom end, the first side facing toward the industrial machine tool and the second side facing away from the industrial machine tool. The first switch actuates a float mode for the industrial machine tool, the float mode being a mode in which movement of a moveable portion of the industrial machine tool is power assisted for an operator of the industrial machine tool. The second switch actuates a machining portion, coupled to the moveable portion of the industrial machine tool, to perform a machining process on a workpiece.
Rivet block including integrated rivet feed bores
