The motor has a motor body including a stator and a rotor, and a motor shaft extending from the rotor and being rotatable around a first rotational axis. The final output shaft is configured to be rotationally driven around a second rotational axis by torque transmitted from the motor shaft. The tool body houses the motor and the final output shaft. The detection device is configured to detect a locking state of the final output shaft. The braking device is configured to directly act on the motor shaft to brake the motor shaft in response to detection of the locking state.
ROTARY TOOL
Provided is a rotary tool with a compact tip tool holding portion (80). The rotary tool is provided with a sleeve (81) attached to an output shaft (41) to switch a tip tool (70) between a fixed state and a detachable state. The output shaft (41) has a through hole (46) formed therein radially penetrating from the inside to the outside of a mounting hole thereof. The through hole (46) has a steel ball (85) provided therein such that at least a part of the steel ball (85) overlaps at least a part of a case (10). The sleeve (81) defines a first position in the outward direction of the steel ball (85), while the case (10) regulates a second position on the radially outer side of the first position.

RECIPROCATING TOOL
A reciprocating tool includes a motor, a reciprocating member, and a crank mechanism. The motor is disposed in a housing. The reciprocating member projects from the housing. The crank mechanism converts rotation of a rotation shaft of the motor into reciprocation of the reciprocating member. The crank mechanism rotates around an axis in a lateral direction by rotation transmission from the rotation shaft, and the crank mechanism includes a crank member having an eccentric pin, a connecting rod coupling the eccentric pin to the reciprocating member, and a balancer coupled to the eccentric pin, and the balancer is supported by the eccentric pin alone in the housing.
VACUUM SHROUD FOR HAND-HELD DRILL
An assembly for a hand-held drill is disclosed. The assembly includes a drill guide and a vacuum shroud. The drill guide includes a mount, a telescoping guard, and a guide foot. The mount is configured to couple to a non-rotating portion of the hand-held drill. The telescoping guard extends from the mount. The guide foot is coupled to the telescoping guard opposite the mount such that the drill guide enshrouds a drill bit of the hand-held drill when the telescoping guard is in an extended position. The vacuum shroud is removably fastenable to the drill guide. The vacuum shroud includes an outer wall and a vacuum hose connector. The outer wall forms an elongate vacuum cavity between an inlet proximate to the guide foot and an outlet distal from the guide foot. A vacuum hose connector is positioned at the outlet distal from the guide foot.
