Hole saw with open end cap geometry
A tool, such as a hole saw, including an open end cap geometry is provided. The end cap includes spokes extending between a hub and a rim. A plurality of openings are defined between the spokes, hub and rim. The area of the openings is substantially large relative to the area of the end cap such that the end cap is relatively lightweight and provides access into the hole saw for debris removal. The spokes are shaped and positioned to provide strength to the end cap.
Tooth formations and arrangement for a saw blade
A saw blade can include a blade body having a cutting edge defined by multiple teeth. The teeth can be disposed in a repeating pattern including a raker tooth, a first set tooth having a light offset to a right side of the blade body, a second set tooth having a heavy offset to the left side of the blade body, a second raker tooth, a third set tooth having a light offset to the left side, and a fourth set tooth having a heavy offset to the right side of the blade body. Each tooth can include a tip, rake face, gullet having a gullet depth, and one or more clearance surfaces. The pitch distance and gullet depth of the heavy offset teeth can be less than the pitch distances and gullet depths of the remaining teeth to provide an increased amount of strength for the heavy offset teeth.

Core drill guide apparatus and method
Disclosed is a core drill guide apparatus for providing a guide for a core drill apparatus to drill into a substrate to form a removable core. The apparatus includes an elongate body with an outer surface and inner space, having an entrance end, an exit end and side walls, a distance between the ends defining a length or height of the elongate body and a width. An passageway extends through the elongate body from entrance to exit end, adapted so that in use, it provides sliding receipt of a fastening system to clamp the apparatus to an outer surface surrounding a first hole in a substrate, allowing the apparatus to abut the outer surface and drill out a core in the substrate underneath and surrounding the first hole. A corresponding guide method and fastening system are also disclosed.

Tool attachment for a power tool
A tool attachment, in particular hole saw, for a power tool having a driving axle that is drivable in oscillation. The tool attachment including a connecting device with which the tool attachment is attachable to the power tool such that the driving axle thereof and a tool axis essentially coincide. A work area has teeth, with the work area being at least partially circular in design and adjoining a hollow, cylindrical base. Openings are formed in the base, the openings constituting at least 60%, at least 80%, or at least 90% of the area of the base.

CUTTING TOOL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MACHINED PRODUCT
A cutting tool may include a main body extended from a first end to a second end. The main body may be rotatable around a rotation axis. The main body may include a first cutting edge, a second cutting edge, a first flute and a second flute. The first flute may be extended from the first cutting edge toward the second end. The second flute may be extended from the second cutting edge toward the second end. The first flute may include a first hole located in the main body. The second flute may include a second hole located in the main body. The first hole may have a circular shape and the second hole may have a long narrow shape in a circumferential direction of the rotation axis in a cross section orthogonal to the rotation axis.
Hole saw arbor having an adjustable connection mechanism
An arbor for a hole saw includes an arbor shaft configured to be coupled to a power tool. The arbor shaft defines a longitudinal axis. The arbor also includes an arbor stem supported by the arbor shaft. The arbor stem includes at least one arm having a threaded portion configured to engage the hole saw. The arbor further includes an actuator supported by the arbor shaft. The actuator is operable to move the threaded portion of the at least one arm relative to the longitudinal axis.
Electric tool
An electric tool includes a housing, a motor, a power output assembly, and a switching member. The housing is provided with a first air outlet and a second air outlet. The power output assembly is connected to the motor. The switching member is capable of rotating in the housing, and the switching member is provided with a third air outlet and a fourth air outlet. The switching member is capable of rotating to a first position and a second position in the housing. When the switching member rotates to the first position, the first air outlet is in communication with the third air outlet and the fourth air outlet is closed by the housing. When the switching member rotates to the second position, the second air outlet is in communication with the fourth air outlet and the third air outlet is closed by the housing.
