Fastener extraction ratchet bit system
A fastener extraction ratchet bit system for facilitating extraction of stripped fasteners by permitting attachment of extraction bits to an air drive ratchet. The system includes a driving tool and a fitting coupled to and extending from the driving tool. A drill socket is coupled to a drill bit wherein the drill bit is selectively couplable to the fitting such that the driving tool provides a driving force to the drill bit. An extraction socket is coupled to an extraction bit wherein the extraction bit is also selectively couplable to the fitting such that the driving tool provides the driving force to the extraction bit.
DRILLING MILLING TOOL AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING A THROUGH-HOLE
A drilling and milling tool (100) for a metallic workpiece, with a drilling and milling shank (120) having a plurality of circumferentially-cutting cutter tips (151, 152, 153, 154) and a plurality of front-end-cutting cutter tips (131, 132). At least one of the front-end-cutting cutter tips (132) is, at the same time, a circumferentially-cutting cutter tip whose radially outermost cutting point or cutting edge section projects, in the radial direction (R), beyond the circumferentially-cutting cutter tips (151 152, 153, 154). The circumferentially-cutting cutter tips (151, 152, 153, 154) are made with straight cutting edges and together these cutting edges produce a cylindrical cut contour. Two methods that can be carried out with the drilling and milling tool (100) for producing a through-going bore in a metallic workpiece.
Orthopedic screw extractor
An orthopedic screw extractor device including a shaft, an end portion about a first end of the shaft for securing to a handle, and a screw extracting tip about a second end of the shaft opposite the first end. The screw extracting tip further includes a generally frustoconical shape having a side at an angle of about 5 to 15 degrees relative to a longitudinal axis of the screw extracting tip. The screw extracting tip further includes first, second and third screw threads and first, second and third flutes circumferentially spaced about the screw extracting tip and extending across an entire length of the screw extracting tip. Each of the screw threads has a lead of about 0.07 to 0.12 inches, a pitch of about 0.02 to 0.04 inches, a thread angle of about 40 to 50 degrees, and a depth of about 0.01 to 0.02 inches.
Orthopedic screw extractor
An orthopedic screw extractor device including a shaft, an end portion about a first end of the shaft for securing to a handle, and a screw extracting tip about a second end of the shaft opposite the first end. The screw extracting tip further includes a generally frustoconical shape having a side at an angle of about 5 to 15 degrees relative to a longitudinal axis of the screw extracting tip. The screw extracting tip further includes first, second and third screw threads and first, second and third flutes circumferentially spaced about the screw extracting tip and extending across an entire length of the screw extracting tip. Boring Tool With Deburring Assembly
A cutting tool may include a shank having a drive end for interfacing with a powered driver, a body portion extending operably coupled to and extending away from the shank, a cutting portion extending from the body portion and sharing an axis with the shank and the body portion, the cutting portion including a plurality of cutting edges, and a deburring assembly operably coupled to the cutting portion or the body portion. The deburring assembly may be configured to be fully insertable into a hole cut by the cutting tool.

MACHINING/BURNISHING DUAL GEOMETRY ORBITAL DRILLING TOOL
A combination cutting and burnishing orbital drilling tool may include an elongate tool body including a cutting end and extending along a longitudinal axis. The tool body may include a burnishing portion spaced from the cutting end and configured to induce residual stress in a side wall of a hole without removing material. The tool body may further include a cutting portion interposed between the cutting end and the burnishing portion. The cutting portion may be configured to remove material from a workpiece, thereby creating the hole, during an orbital drilling process.
DRILL AND METHOD OF PRODUCING DRILLED PRODUCT
According to one implementation, a drill includes the first cutting edges, the second cutting edges and a deflection reducer. The first cutting edges drill a prepared hole to a workpiece. The first cutting edges are formed in a tip side of the drill. The first point angle and each first relief angle of the first cutting edges continuously or intermittently decrease from the tip side toward a rear end side of the drill. The second cutting edges finish the prepared hole. The second cutting edges are formed at positions away in the rear end side from the first cutting edges. The second cutting edges have the second relief angles at a maximum diameter position. The deflection reducer reduces deflection of the second cutting edges by being inserted into the prepared hole. The deflection reducer is formed between the first cutting edges and the second cutting edges.

The invention relates to a tool for forming a drilled hole (B), comprising a shank that is rotatable or rotates about a tool axis (A), at least one first portion, which is rotatable or rotates about the tool axis (A), for producing and/or widening a drilled hole (B) by chip cutting, and a second portion, which rotates about the tool axis (A), for widening a drilled hole (B) without chip cutting, wherein the second portion is arranged behind the first portion in a direction of advance (V) of the tool. The invention additionally relates to a method for producing a drilled hole (B).
