Cover for a mattress or a cushion as well as a mattress or cushion with such a cover
A cover (8) for a mattress (6) or a cushion (3) of a piece of furniture (1) with a utilized side (10) and a back side (11), wherein on the back side (11) there is a receiving device for bottom spring cushioning (12) which has spring strips (15), wherein at least one spring strip (15) is made of a fiber-reinforced plastic material with a preferably pultruded fiber core (16) and a plastic jacket (17) which surrounds the fiber core (16). It is provided that on opposite sides of the jacket (17) one jacket side (18) at a time sticks out for an enlarged support surface of the spring strip (15).

Inline method for producing a spring strip profile for a slatted frame
An inline method for producing a spring strip profile (1) for a slatted frame that comprises at least one core strand (2) formed by a fiber-reinforced plastic and at least one thermoplastic cover layer (3) surrounding the core strand (2), comprises at least the following steps: joining multiple fibers, threads and/or filaments to form a fiber bundle (2.1); impregnating the fiber bundle (2.1) with a thermally activatable reaction resin; molding the outer contour of the fiber bundle (2.1) impregnated with the reaction resin; thermally activating the reaction resin (2.1) to form a cured core strand; introducing the core strand (2) into an extruder head (110); applying thermoplastic melt in the extruder head (110) to form the cover layer (3) on the spring strip profile (1); and cooling and calibrating the spring strip profile (1) in a cooling and calibrating device (111, 112, 113). The outer contour of the fiber bundle (2.1) is wrapped around, in a winding machine (105), by at least one thread or filament (2.2) supplied laterally in relation to the fiber bundle in at least one position and orientation, and, in a heating section (106), before the core strand (2) is introduced into the extruder head (110), at least a partial curing of the reaction resin is achieved, at least in the wrapped outer layer of the fiber bundle (2.1).
Comfort control insert for a mattress and foundation
An insert adapted to be inserted between a foundation of a bed and a mattress of the bed. The insert includes a frame having a first side rail and a second side rail spaced apart from the first side rail. A plurality of elongate upper slats extend between the first side rail and the second side rail of the frame at a first level with respect to the frame and are spaced apart from one another. A plurality of elongate lower slats extend between the first side rail and the second side rail of the frame at a second level located below the first level of the upper slats. Each lower slat is located below a gap formed between a pair of adjacent upper slats. A mounting member resiliently supports the ends of two adjacent upper slats and rigidly supports the end of a lower slat that is located below the gap formed between the two adjacent upper slats, whereby the firmness of a mattress overlying the insert can be selectively adjusted.

Assemblable Mattress Support Whose Side Panels, Headboard and Footboard Fit Inside A Single Packing Box
An assemblable mattress support can be shipped with all of its components compactly packed into the headboard. The mattress support includes a foldable longitudinal bar, a lateral bar, side panels, wooden slats, block legs and a footboard, all of which fit inside a compartment in the headboard. In an assembled state of the mattress support, a first connector at one end of the longitudinal bar attaches to a third connector on the outside of the headboard. A second connector at the other end of the longitudinal bar attaches to a fourth connector on the footboard. The middle of the lateral bar connects to the middle of the longitudinal bar. The block legs are attached to the bottom sides of the headboard and footboard. The slats are attached to one another by fabric ribbons and are placed in parallel over the longitudinal bar and support ledges on the side panels.

Quick-Assembly Bed Base
Provided is a quick assembly sommier box including end panels that have couplings on the inside and at opposite ends; and side panels that have couplings on the inside and at opposite ends. The upper face of each side panel has a step shape in the lower plane of which a Velcro strip is fixed. The couplings are defined by plates from which spaced apart eyelets project, which are able to receive a pin destined to penetrate all the central holes of the eyelets, with such pin being held in position by means of a cotter pin. The sommier box also includes bipartite bed frames, each composed of equidistant slats joined by Velcro strips. The sommier box defined in this way can be assembled extremely quickly and without the need for tools.
