Machining system
A machining system includes a tool head having a yoke, a housing pivotally mounted to the yoke and a collet rotatable in the housing. The collet includes a tool head rocker driven by fluid to allow rocking of a tool relative to the collet in a plane normal to the housing pivotal axis in the yoke. The machining system also includes a source of constant liquid pressure and a source of constant gas pressure. The collet has pressure chambers in communication with the sources of constant pressures to bias the rockable collet assembly. The collet/tool axis is arranged to trail in the direction of relative motion when the contour of the work is moving away from the tool head and to lead when the contour of the work is approaching the tool head.
TILTING MECHANISM
A tilting mechanism includes: a housing including a body chamber extending along a reference axis, a receiving surface located at a distal end portion of the body chamber, and an abutment surface; a body disposed inside the body chamber in a tiltable manner with respect to the reference axis, the body including a first spherical surface coming in contact with the receiving surface, and a contact surface coming in contact with the abutment surface, an elastic member disposed in the body chamber to urge the body toward a distal end; and an anti-rotation member disposed in the housing to prevent rotation of the body.
Tool bracket
Provided is a tool bracket in which a spindle body is inserted and the spindle body can be smoothly tilted. The tool bracket includes a housing including a cylinder chamber extending along a cylinder axis; a tilting body having a tilt axis configured to tilt about a tilt center, the tilting body to which a spindle body is attachable, the tilting body tiltable with respect to the cylinder axis; a rotation stopper member extending in a radial direction from the tilt axis, the rotation stopper member disposed in the tilting body; and a receiving groove extending along the cylinder axis, the receiving groove arranged in the housing.
Tool bracket, deburring tool with tool bracket, and deburring method
Provided is a tool bracket capable of tilting a spindle body even when a moment load acting on the spindle body is relatively small. A tool bracket includes: a housing including a cylinder chamber extending along a cylinder axis; a piston urged by compressible fluid toward distal end to reciprocate in the cylinder chamber and having an action portion disposed at distal end; and a tilting body having a tilt axis and disposed in the cylinder chamber in a tiltable manner with respect to the cylinder axis, and includes a centering portion disposed at basal end to abut the action portion, the centering portion presses the piston with the cylinder axis as an action line when the tilt axis is tilted from the cylinder axis.
Machine Tool
To provide a machine tool that improves convenience when removing burrs.
A deburring tool that cuts a periphery of a hole in an orientation intersecting a spindle axis in a workpiece is attached to a tool post of a machine tool and the tool post rotates the deburring tool around a deburring tool center axis. A control unit of the machine tool acquires a command (CM1 to CM4) for instructing the deburring tool to either perform, on the periphery, down-cutting in which a cutting direction by the rotating deburring tool is opposite to a relative movement direction of the deburring tool or to perform, on the periphery, up-cutting in which the cutting direction and the relative movement direction are the same, and performs control to cut the periphery so as to maintain the cut instructed by the command (CM1 to CM4) at a cutting position.
Processing tool
A deburring tool includes a body including a cylinder chamber having a tool holder holding hole, and an anti-rotation body holding hole; a tool holder having an anti-rotation groove and disposed in the cylinder chamber to reciprocate in the cylinder chamber; a first elastic body disposed inside the cylinder chamber to urge the tool holder toward a distal end; a cover disposed outside the body to reciprocate between a detaching position and a processing position, the cover including, a pressing surface that covers the anti-rotation body holding hole at the processing position, and a relief portion; and an anti-rotation body accommodated in the relief portion when the cover is positioned at the detaching position and the tool holder is pulled from the tool holder holding hole.
