SLEEP MONITORING SYSTEM

Sleep systems having embedded sensors are described. In one aspect, a sleep system includes a mattress and one or more force sensors embedded within the mattress. The force sensors are positioned within the mattress to sense movement of an occupant of the mattress. The sleep system also includes one or more processors coupled with the one or more force sensors. At least one of the processors is configured to determine sleep state information for the occupant based on data obtained from one or more of the force sensors.

Viscoelastic polyurethane foams

Flexible polyurethane foams having high airflows and excellent viscoelastic properties are made using a polyol mixture that includes a certain liquid polyester, certain ethylene oxide polyols and certain propylene oxide polyols, and a polymeric MDI. When used in applications such as bedding, the high airflows contribute to an improved sense of comfort by the user.

The cushion cover wraps the cushion core, the breathable layer and the micro-circulation layer of the cushion core may be fixed together by glue or other manners, and may also be laminated together, thereby facilitating the replacement of different numbers of micro-circulation layers. The breathable layer may be directly washed, and an air micro-circulation is formed through an internal structure. An air micro-circulation may be likewise formed through an internal structure of the layer, and the breathable layer and the micro-circulation layer may co-form an air micro-circulation, thus increasing the breathability of the cushion core. Furthermore, different numbers of micro-circulation layers may be according to different temperatures.
