The air mattress includes: upper sheet, lower sheet and annular side wall sheets, wherein the edges of the upper sheet are connected with the upper edges of the side wall sheets, the edges of the lower sheet are connected with the lower edges of the side wall sheets to form main air cavity; the inner surface of side wall sheet is fixed with annular side wall belt, the side wall belt and the upper sheet are connected by first support belt, the side wall belt and the lower sheet are connected by second support belt, and the side wall belt and the side wall sheet are fixedly connected by third support belt and fourth support belt, respectively; and annular first chamber consistent with the extending direction of the side wall sheet is formed in the side wall belt. The bed includes the air mattress.

MULTI-AIR CHAMBER MATTRESS WITH LOCALIZED SUPPORT
20230027288 · 2023-01-26 ·

Described herein are mattresses with localized air chamber support. A mattress can include a first air chamber positioned at a shoulder region, a second air chamber positioned at a hip region and fluidly connected to the first air chamber, and a foam insert positioned between the air chambers. The air chambers can share a common internal pressure. Decreasing the common internal pressure in the air chambers can cause the foam insert to increase support at a lumbar region of the mattress. Additional foam inserts can be positioned between at least one of the first air chamber and a head end of the mattress, the first and second air chambers, and the second air chamber and a foot end of the mattress. The mattress can also include a foam rail structure that extends around a perimeter of the mattress to surround the components therein.

Patient securing overlay for underbody supports

Apparatus and methods related to an underbody support for supporting a body of a being, such as during surgery to prevent contact pressure injuries. In certain embodiments, the underbody support may include one or more inflatable chambers enclosing a volume. At least one of the inflatable chambers may include one or more compression sensitive switches for monitoring the volume of the inflatable chamber, and the one or more compression sensitive switches may be located within the inflatable chamber. In some embodiments the one or more compression sensitive switches are sized to close when the said inflatable chamber is deflated to a desired residual volume.

Fluid source for supplying fluid to therapy devices

A fluid source comprises a connector assembly for connecting a fluid supply device to either a first therapy device or to a second therapy device. A controller automatically provides a first configuration of a user interface associated with a first therapy when a supply connector is operatively coupled to the first therapy device and provides a second configuration of the user interface associated with a second therapy, different than the first configuration, when the supply connector is operatively coupled to the second therapy device. A hanger assembly is provided to hang the fluid source on different support structures. The fluid source also comprises a housing with a watershed region to shed liquid away from the user interface.

Inflatable Air Mattress System Architecture

A method may comprise receiving, at a central controller, a command, from a remote control, to adjust a feature of a first component of an air mattress framework; relaying, from the central controller, the command to the first component; receiving from the first component at the central controller, an indication of the success of the command; and relaying the indication from the central controller to the remote control.

INTERNAL TENSIONING STRUCTURE USEABLE WITH INFLATABLE DEVICES
20230218090 · 2023-07-13 ·

An internal tensioning structure for use in an inflatable product fulfills the basic function of maintaining two adjacent inflatable surfaces in a desired geometric arrangement when the inflatable product is pressurized. The tensioning structure is formed by connecting a pair of plastic strips sheets via spaced-apart strands, such as strings or wires. When pulled taut, the strands provide a high tensile strength between the two opposed plastic strips. At the same time, the plastic strips facilitate a strong, long-lasting weld between the tensioning structure and the inflatable product.

MATTRESS WITH STACKED AIR CHAMBERS
20230017015 · 2023-01-19 ·

Disclosed are beds having stackable air chambers. A mattress can include a first air chamber, a second air chamber stacked beneath the first air chamber and fluidly connected to the first air chamber, and a support stacked beneath the first air chamber and positioned between the second air chamber and a foot end of the mattress. The first air chamber can extend across a length of the mattress from a head end to the foot end of the mattress. The second air chamber can be positioned at a shoulder region of the mattress. The first and second air chambers can have a common internal pressure, such that decreasing the pressure in the first and second air chambers cause the support stacked beneath the first air chamber and positioned between the second air chamber and the foot end of the mattress to increase support at a lumbar region of the mattress.

Beanbag with Storage

A beanbag comprising a first layer, forming a generally closed container, a layer of cushioning lining an inside of the first layer, a cavity within the closed container, and a resealable access port to access the cavity. In a preferred embodiment, the first layer is marine vinyl, the cushioning is a uniform layer of marine foam, and the resealable access port is a marine-grade zipper. In another embodiment, the cushioning is a layer of beanbag beans. In another embodiment, the resealable access port is an opening at the end of a protrusion, wherein the protrusion can be rolled-up and secured with a fastening mechanism. The beanbag is intended for, but not limited to, use outdoors, such as on the beach, the decks of boats, patios, pool sides, and in water. In a preferred embodiment, the beanbag floats on water and further comprises a reflective band and reflective elements.

Air system for a bed

An air system for a bed can include a layer assembly having a head end, a foot end, and first and second sides, with a head portion near the head end, a foot portion near the foot end, and a middle portion between the head portion and the foot portion, the layer assembly. The layer assembly can have a spacer layer comprising spacer material configured to allow for air flow through the spacer material and a cover comprising a cover top layer and a cover bottom layer. The air system can have a distribution manifold that is substantially fan-shaped with a plurality of ribs defining channels and/or is positioned above the cover bottom layer and under the spacer layer. The air system can have first and second flaps with first and second retention features extending from the head and foot ends of the air layer.
