Bedding or seating product having topper with at least one thermally enhanced foam component
A three-layered topper fora bedding or seating product has a first piece of foam, a second piece of foam and a pocketed spring comfort layer therebetween. The pocketed spring comfort layer has individually pocketed mini coil springs. At least one of the foam pieces may be infused with metallic particles to improve thermal conductivity. Alternatively, at least one of the foam pieces may be infused with microencapsulated phase change materials to improve heat absorption. At least one of the foam pieces may have a coating to further improve thermal conductivity or heat absorption.
MATTRESS ASSEMBLIES INCLUDING PHASE CHANGE MATERIALS AND PROCESSES TO DISSIPATE THERMAL LOAD ASSOCIATED WITH THE PHASE CHANGE MATERIALS
Mattress assemblies including phase change materials and processes for dissipating retained in the mattress assemblies generally include a spacer layer in proximity to one or more foam layers containing a phase change material; and a pump in fluid communication with the spacer layer to provide a positive or negative air flow into the spacer layer to reduce retained heat in the phase change materials subsequent to a sleep cycle. The process includes operating the pump between sleep cycles to reduce the retained heat.
FOAM PAD STRUCTURE HAVING PROTECTIVE FILM
A foam pad structure having a protective film includes a substrate layer, a hot glue layer, a printed pattern layer, and an adhesive film. The substrate layer is made of a foam material. The substrate layer has two surfaces arranged oppositely on its upper and lower sides. The hot glue layer is coated on at least one of the two surfaces of the substrate layer. The hot glue layer has an adhesive surface facing away from the substrate layer. The printed pattern layer is composed of a pigment containing the same composition as the hot glue layer. The printed pattern layer is printed on the adhesive surface of the hot glue layer. The hot glue layer and the printed pattern layer are melted between the substrate layer and the adhesive film.
MULTI-ZONE COOLING FOR A FOAM PADDING
A foam padding has at least one upper section and at least one lower section. The foam padding comprises at least one absorber that is embedded in the upper section, the at least one absorber for absorbing thermal energy from the upper section. The foam padding further comprises at least one band that is embedded in the lower section, the at least one band for transferring thermal energy within the lower section.

MATTRESS
A mattress includes a mattress body, a control unit at the mattress body, a plurality of air conduits defined at the mattress body, and a plurality of air passages extending within the mattress body. The plurality of air conduits is in fluid communication with the control unit and the plurality of air passages such that the plurality of air conduits is configured to convey pressurized air from the control unit to the plurality of air passages. The plurality of air passages can each have an air passage end open at a surface of the mattress body such that pressurized air received from the air conduits is output by the air passages at the surface of the mattress body.
HEAT-DISSIPATING BEDDING PRODUCT
The present invention relates to bedding product having heat-dissipation and support properties provided by structural protrusions on the surface of the bedding product. The bedding product may comprise a first layer of foam, that includes a base support having an upper surface and a lower surface and a plurality of open and closed protrusions located on the upper surface of the base support. Each open protrusion comprises a cavity formed therein, wherein the cavity has a depth of at least 0.5 inch
LIGHTWEIGHT PORTABLE PANEL FOR PHYSICAL THERAPY OR EXERCISE
A support panel that may provide a platform to perform, for example, for at least one of physical therapy, yoga, or Pilates exercises, is provided. The support panel includes a rigid board having a first side and a second side, which may be formed from composite materials. The support panel is configured to be placed onto a compressible surface. A padding layer is attached to the first side of the rigid board. A cover is wrapped around the padding layer and at least a portion of the second side of the rigid board. The cover may be removable. A method of using the support panel for exercises is also provided.
